Sade Sati aka 7 1/2 years down on luck

Anyone here familiar with Sade Sati aka 7 1/2 years bad luck phenomena? I am aware according to Gurmat we should not concern ourselves with Astrology and the planets.

Thing is the more I study this subject, I realize I have been strongly affected by it and experience all negative symptoms of Shani in my life since they day I'm born is heavily ruled by Saturn.

Would like to hear members input on this subject and experiences if any.

To step down a level into astrology. You have your natal chart and it's aspects, you have transits as well which are how the energies are resonnating with your chart in the present. A lot of this is in the realm of predictive astrology. There is also however evolutionary astrology, where those aspects or attributes, Karams, are not considered fixed but activated or dealt with. Unlocked. And so even in the world of astrology I wouldn't personally be too hung up on the predictive aspects. It's a fascinating system of sociology and psychology if nothing else and it does turn out accurate more than just random. 

However. If Naam and Gurbani are the most powerful ways of eliminating Karam, then it is also the most powerful way to activate your chart aspects. 

If seven years is a certain way it's a certain way. Good people are beleigured in Kalyug. Take it as a compliment. 

You don't have any narcissistic family members do you? Lol. That'll make you feel deviled and cursed for sure. 

Just because something has a function doesn't mean it's for you. It's for people that need astrology. We have Hukam and Simran so we don't really need those lower level trappings.

Maharaj Kripa, family members are close and very supportive, a lot of help comes from them during hard times.

I used to have a big interest, casually, about vedic astrology. 

It is very interesting, also quite complex

It really is an art

But Bani done intensively is 'Sarab Rog ka Aukhad Naam' (just need to do more Naam Japna myself...!)

Symptoms of Shani affliction include continuous financial problems, difficulty in getting married and if you are married relationship would be rocky especially if your spouse too is afflicted by Saturn, workplace problems, education focus will be bad, health issues, depression and other mental afflictions, keeps you far from your loved ones and society hence many jailbirds are afflicted by Saturn. Financial and relationship problems seems to be the top recurring symptom.

Those are also symptoms of life, especially Kalyug. What to do about it?

Are really being affected or is the mind playing tricks? Your focus is on negative thoughts, you are probably more affected by the moon as your body is is made 75% or so (cant remember off the top of my head) of water.

I think if you start believing in such things they can easily become manifest i.e. self-fulfilling prophesies. 

Things outside of planetary alignments are more likely to affect the things you mention, like looks, education, racism, personality, status, regional culture, family cultures etc. etc.
