Indian colonial policies in Punjab exactly mirror the British colonial policies in India. Just as it was in the British economic interest to turn India into a raw materials suppliers which could then be exported to Britain and then the value added finished goods in British factories which could then be sent to India to be sold, in the same way Indian colonialism keeps Punjab a underdeveloped agricultural colony. Hindi imperialism is just one aspect of  Indian colonialism. In the globalised world, Punjabis have more need for a language like English than Hindi. The only two languages than matter in Punjab should be Punjabi and English.

100%.

India has adopted psychological operations pioneered by the likes of the CIA and certain Soviet institutions, and has been bombarding Punjab with them.

The 80s physical action against Sikhs was the opening salvo of a war that is continuously occurring to this very day, except the war of the past 40 years is one of psychological pressure involving politics, economics, cultural and social propaganda.

The worst thing is NO Sikh institution in Punjab has come out and identified any of it, and there's no response aside from "pray more". There's a clear formula that's apparent to anyone who stops to observe what's going on.

Why do you think Kashmiris are still fighting for their independence and strong about their resolve compared to Sikhs?Like Sikhs are ashamed of their own history now but Kashmiris are still fighting for their sovereignty? They also going through similar stuff no? Fake encounters, mass killings, economic suppression. Punjab and Kashmir both deep in debt. Is this because of higher % of Hindus in Punjab or is it because Kashmir's case is known all over the world and is under UN?

Not completely true. Corporations setting up in Punjab have been driven out hence causing fear and insecurity in anyone else wishing to set up shop.

The farmers protest added to this problem as Punjabis want to be the bread basket of Indians and therefore unwilling to diversify.

Otherwise how is it that UP has developed so much under Yogi.

Can't have it both ways.

It would have been better if the Russians sold them for these to be honest. The rupee is a pretty worthless currency.

Amazon.com: Hasbro Monopoly Money : Toys & Games

What's Putin going to do when Modi has 500 and 1000 notes withdrawn like it happened in 2016. How many Dindus does he know that he can get to go to India and convert them to the new notes?

Hahaha. What a joker you are!

Have you heard of gold backed currency? Or e-currency.  Or the rupee becoming stronger in itself through wider acceptance as a medium of exchange?

You seem bent on India's destruction.

Kashmiris are not fighting now, a majority of the militants are Pakistanis. The Kashmiri leadership has sold out just as our leadership sold out after operation Bluestar.  The Muftis, Shahs and Abdullahs are no better than the Badals and the Captains. The Kashmiri Muslims themselves are hopelessly divided with some wanting union with Pakistan and other complete independence and many like the Gujjars and Bakarwals wanting to stay in India. Just having a militant campaign of violence does not achieve anything because all it allows the state to do is bring in more and more oppressive measures. What is open is the electoral process and the Kashmiris have been let down by their political parties. There is a place for a militant struggle BUT only after you have won the electoral battle by installing a majority government which has then declared that is wants Independence from India and then the Indian state arrests and jails its leadership. If that happened in Kashmir or Punjab then the militant struggles would have had legitimacy in the eyes of most of the western democracies. The greatest fear of Rajiv Gandhi was that a SAD(Mann) government would win in Punjab in 1991 and declare Khalistan. It came close but the state used it's cats to organise a campaign of violence and to justify the postponement of the elections in May 1991 and then the subsequent boycott in 1992.

Never underestimate the effect that a win by a separatist/nationalist  party that have in a state like Kashmir or Punjab. This is the biggest fear of the Indian state, that its claim to be the world biggest democracy would be hard to justify if the people of a state used their democratic vote to install a  party into power in their state that seeks independence from India.

???

No vote can be held to be legitimate after expelling 300,000 to 500,000 of their own citizens through murder and violence.

As well as introducing measures to exclude them from the economy.

Then try to call it a Democracy. Lol.

This letter to Rajiv Gandhi, from the ten Governor of India give a very clear picture of the situation in Kashmir during the period of the Genocide of KPs.  It goes on for a few pages but worth the read.

Only the rich virtue signallers will take up this offer. Wait for the backlash from the chavy goray once they find out that the  refugees are living in large properties without having to worry about their energy bills.

'Ask them if they'd take a homeless veteran... that's not leftie enough': Jim Davidson slams BAFTA celebrities like Benedict Cumberbatch offering to take in Ukrainian refugees

  • Jim Davidson was discussing celebrity 'virtue signalling' on Dan Wootton Tonight
  • The comedian criticised Benedict Cumberbatch's offer to take Ukraine refugee
  • 'Ask him if he'll take in a veteran... That's not leftie enough,' he told GB News host

The comedian questioned whether actors and presenters would be prepared to 'take in a veteran that's homeless', or whether 'that [would not be] leftie enough.'

His comments came after Benedict Cumberbatch, while attending the Bafta Awards at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Sunday, said he would offer his home to Ukrainians fleeing the country's war with Russia

Speaking to Sky News on the red carpet the Power of the Dog star, seen wearing a Ukraine flag pin badge, said: 'It is a really shocking time to be a European two and a half hours flight away from Ukraine, and it's something that hangs over us

Jim Davidson has criticised 'lefty' celebrities who say they will take in Ukrainian refugees into their homes, saying that they are 'not in the real world'. He also took aim at Beneditch Cumberbatch, who while on the red carpet at this weekend's Baftas said he would take in a Ukrainian refugee

'I think already today the news has broken that there's been a record number of people volunteering to take people into their homes, and I hope to be part of that myself.'

Davidson was appearing on GB News' Dan Wootton Tonight show when he weighed in on the film star.

Asked by host Wootton if celebrities like Cumberbatch 'need to politically virtue signal at these events', he replied: 'It's what people do, it's their chance to get on a soap box.

'Ask him if he'll take in a veteran that's homeless who has fought in many wars for this country. That's not leftie enough.
