Odd how the Islamic channels don't get cancelled..guess Muslims kick off..Sikhs just sign petitions and stuff like that

Whatever the reason for this selectivity we need to be much smarter when articulating ourselves on these platforms. I've seen clips of these types of UK based shows, and we come across as quite basic and dim. It's not hard for me to believe that a Singh hosting these types of shows would get gassed, and start mouthing off about certain things like killing people and insurrections, lmao. Leave that to the people watching at home.

That wasn't india f'ing you like usual. That was the imperials f'ing you again, like usual. Remember your place and stay in it.

That's okay. Those elite chomos are going to be too busy hiding wealth, learning russian, and chinese to be keeping their boot on your head soon.

Just have to ride the war waves, and the opression like everyone else and be prepared for a rights movement.

so why are Muslims allowed to do anything and barely face things like this? Because they have power and 42 countries backing them up. Sikhs dont understand the importance of having a home.

They have countries like Saudi, UAE and all backing them up who trade with the UK. That's why. Like I said its all about your worth. We Sikhs provide nothing to the world yet so get ready to be stateless and kicked left and right in all the countries. No matter what you do you will never be equal. Its funny to think some of you all think we will have power in these countries.

someone was telling me how Sikhs are better off in western countries and we will have power and rights. What happened now?

Don't worry those same group of Sikhs would one day say to you that Sikhs would have better rights and power on Mars .

I'm sure the presenter,  will be sacked, Ktv will get a slap on the wrist then pay a hefty fine, then will continue as usual.

They had an incident in 2019 also where they were fined.

‘Jeeta’ the presenter involved in current incident is one of the main men of the channel, and the CEO (but I think, not owner)

not sure it will be as simple as you have suggested

KTV is from what I have seen, the most  ‘Panthic’ oriented of the 4 Sikh channels (until Politics Punjab as the fifth channel started up around 6 months ago) and , I think Jeeta’s family were affected by killing of innocents in the 80’s/90’s.

We can't even have channels to present our view point anywhere in the world. How is being a wage slave worker in western countries working out for us? Without having strong political backings and a media to voice our views we will just be a stateless no name people living in different countries of the world and one day just finish off.

Here's a thought experiment for you. Imagine you lived in Mughal times and they had their versions of the BBC, ofcom, sky news UK, CNN.

Do you think their coverage of our Gurus would have made them out as the 'good guys'? Imagine it..what would the MNN (mughal news network) say about our Gurus and ancestors who stood up against the Mughal lies and tyranny? The majority of people would have been 'turned' against them.

There is a system..and our values and traditions are not compatible with it. The likes of OFCOM are gatekeepers of the system. Unfortunately the type of presenter they have on ktv ain't skilled enough to realise this..something the likes of Bhai Jagraj Singh (BoS) was skilled at because he knew how the 'system' worked.

Beautiful. That's exactly how it is. Good abstract thinking.

    • Hi All, I havent been on this forum for a while but I thought id give it a try again as it helped me through some rough times earlier in my life. I wanted to seek for guidance on sikhi and marriage ... I noticed a post earlier on sanjog etc. and it got me thinking about my own life and marriage. For context, I have been married 3 years and things are not working out. When we met, I looked in to sanjog alot and it felt like it was written. However, as these years have gone by its become apparent that we no longer align with each other and our marriage is struggling. We dont seem to understand each other and things have fallen apart. We are at a stage now where separation/divorce is looking like the best option. Neither of us are happy and whilst we have tried to work things through in many different ways, after 3 years we have drifted away. What are the sikh views on this? is it written if we decide that we no longer serve each other? or is that a sin and should I continue to work at it? my issue at the moment is that it is draining me. I feel withdrawn from everything due to things going on between us including sikhi and going to the gurdwara.  Breaks my heart to even be writing this but I do think if we are both not happy and cant see a way of being happy then what is the point in continuing? Or should I be continuing and is it paap if we dont honour our laavan? if that is the case, what does sikhi say about marriage? how do I continue knowing everyday I feel the way I do?   Thanks

    • I'll use this place as my spiritual journal so if anyone wants to join then feel free to! I'm not sure if this could be classed as an experience but last week (or 2 weeks ago), I felt my saliva to be sweet however I lost it after a week. I don't really regret it though, if I lost it then it's Hukam Another point, I feel my concentration to be very good for a while, I can focus on the void for a longer period of time than I could before. I also feel a lot more Anand, it's all Guru di kirpa
