Not all of these people refusing degh is for medical reasons.

How could you know this?

I'm not saying that there aren't other reasons. I remember a few decades ago when certain brothers went all mental with the training and diet, they stopped having parshaad because they went mental about 'fat'.

Some people might have high cholesterol and want to avoid ghee etc. That's something that seems to effect 80% of older adults in the quom by the looks of it?

Anyway, someone not having degh shouldn't be a big shock in my opinion. Unless it's coupled with other 'red flag' behaviour.
