you are female, so why are you looking at your dad's (male) behaviour? why don't you look at your mum's behaviour?

i have noticed this a few times. sikh females trying to point out that their dad's drunk/drink alcohol as an excuse to do the same. just looking for excuses to justify immoral behaviour.

i'm guessing your mum's behaviour has been relatively exemplary- she didn't drink alcohol or chase her 'youthful desires'. but you chose to ignore that. even though she is a female like you. how interesting.

btw would you have liked it if you mother drank alcohol or chased her 'youthful desires'?

  Thanks for this. It combines the four approved sources (Guru Granth Sahib ji, Dasam Granth Sahib, Bhai Gurdas ji (both Vaar and Kabitt), and Bhai Nand Lal ji in one place. The English translation is the Sant Singh Khalsa and the Punjabi is the Principal Sahib Singh. These aren't that great, but at least they are better than some even worse ones floating around these days.
