Do you find that born again Sikhs who have always cut their hair, and lived a secular lifestyle who then suddenly without warning took Amrit Sanchar, are more religious and outspoken then other Sikhs?  Meaning that they constantly preach to others how they should be living their life.

I am actually generally very skeptical of Sikhs who fit this description.

I find that more often than not, it is just a phase that they are going through, and once the novelty wears off they will revert to form.

Being an Amritdhari is hard with loving Sikhi, if they don't love Sikhi, they won't make it.

Believe it or not but I'm pretty certain that it was  Sant Isher Singh Ji (Rara Sahib) that said peeps back in the days were much stronger and had bigger brains.

This is ironic with the times were living in with all the technological advancements and more and more kids excelling in school.

The people starting from around the last 50 years have become less spiritual and more materialistic.

people have become used to comfort in first world countries. The smallest inconvenience happens and they act like the world is ending. Imagine how these people will act when something big actually happens? These people have forgotten nothing is permanent.

I agree in regards to comforts. But there's more ignorance out there that we probably don't want to know about. Let's all go with the flow and not question system.
