why is the site so hard to access past few week or so?

SSL certificate got expired and renewal took time to take in effect. It was supposed to be on Auto Renew but not the case with them.

Lol same, during the sangrur election after I posted the thread, I left the site to do some school work, and when I came back I couldn't open the website . I thought the Indian government did something

Oh I see. Just want to take this opportunity to thank the owners of Sikhsangat for running this site and doing a great job over the years.  I wonder if you guys get any funding? As there should be something set up for contributing. Sikhsangat has helped thousands of people around the world from all backgrounds learn about Sikhi. So there should be fund raisers in place to keep the site going and even expanding.

I really admire the admins for their sabar (patience). If I was running the site I’d block people so quickly

You mean like they used to do many years ago.... 

IF you go back some years you will see people blocked and threads closed quickly, just because there was something discussed that didn't agree with certain sikh groups. Some of the rules on this forum are an extension of the paranoia of beliefs from the wider sikh sangat.
