Shooting at Sikh temple in Stockton leaves 3 people in hospital

STOCKTON, Calif. —

Three people were injured in a shooting at a Northern California Sikh temple, authorities said.

Officers found three victims – ages 32, 28 and 27 – at the Gurdwara Sahib Sikh Temple in Stockton, the police department said. First responders transported all of them to the hospital for what they said appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting happened during an event at the temple around 6:42 p.m. on Saturday, Stockton police spokesperson Joseph Silva said.

"A disturbance broke out between the suspects and victims which resulted in an exchange of gunfire," Silva said.

Police believe the two male suspects, who were still at large Sunday, are also Sikh. Police did not release any other suspect information as of publication.

All three victims are also Sikh, according to police.

It's Sikh on Sikh violence in a gurdwara setting, most likely a committee issue. It's not hilarious but it's certainly not a tragedy the same as if it had been a racially motivated attack. Now we know that American Sikhs have no excuse if an outsider ever decides to arrive to shoot up a Sikh temple. If we can use guns against ourselves in petty incidents, we can use them to take out a non-Sikh with hostile intent.

That's the big issue though isn't it. We can see from Canada, that certain people have absolutely no qualms about knocking off their own (and that too in droves) but seem to baulk when it comes to doing the same to outsiders.

This is the truth, other communities tend to not be as self-aggressive as we are, which would just mean we have people who hate our own people more than any gora or kala.

That's even worse than a committee skirmish. There will be shootings over kabaddi matches in the West soon.

Bad part is that it is in the name of Sant ji and this shooting happend and that gives enough material for india media to spin it off for their advantage. Already happened Kabbadi and cricket match shooting. Wild West
