Sikh parents are so toxic toward their children. Why can’t organisations do more to educate parents how to Build proper balanced relationships with their kids?

naah tbh i don't know if its due to intergenerational trauma but i have observed that there is alot of violence in a lot of Punjabi homes.

I think the toxicity is often mental/psychological (as opposed to physical) these days i.e. abusive, coercive behaviour and language.

Not enough bottles of Famous Grouse in the house? Couldn't quite splash out on the 90-inch TV, so had to settle for the 82-inch one instead? Wanted a BMW i7 but could only afford the iX3?

I live in the Midlands in the UK, and many gurudwaras have seminars on mental health, raising children, youth issues etc. This needs to be encouraged and proliferated so that people can learn Gursikh lifestyle and keep balanced and understanding minds.

However I noticed that our parents are too easy on sons. When men are strong and can propagate the faith, women will follow suit.
