What is the value of agricultural land in Punjab these days?

I haven't been to Punjab in more than a decade and I don't know much about the value of agricultural land these days.

Can somebody give me a ballpark estimate of the value of agricultural land per acre?

It varies. For example, some districts have more expensive land due to better quality soil while others are cheaper.

I would say if you have more information, how many acres, what district it is in.

 

Is it on a main road, anything nearby that is commercial.

 

It can definitely change in value, like it can be even worth crores if it's on a main road, ect.

Thanks. I'm wondering about agricultural land in Moga district right along the GT road.

I know it hard to give an accurate assessment with limited information,  but even a very general range would be helpful.

If its on a main road it can be sold at a high price for a new Marriage Palace.

20 to 35 lakh. Depends if it's on a main road or not.

Could be worth 1 crore or more easily if it's on a main road.

 

I would advise going to a property dealer yourself, have a local ask and they will give you a fair idea.

Yeah, I will have to do all that, of course. I'm just hoping to get a general idea so I know what I'm dealing with and what is at stake.

Selling.

If the land is on the main road then its price might be in crores. I am not sure about Moga but land prices in Doaba and Majha are pretty high.
