I think it is in the context of the 'trans' thing that seems to be normalised.

In that if there is abnormal things that are pushed onto society like drag queen hour for children.

The people who do these things would be have been ostracised, shamed and ridiculed in the past and now that these people are not as picked on, they are taking advantage and are now the aggressors.

We've always had some of this. It just wasn't encouraged or 'mainstreamed'.
