Britain's best Asian teacher: Dr Baldev Singh

Dr Baldev Singh, the head of IT at John Cabot City Technology College, Bristol has won the 2004 national award for innovation in education. He has set up projects with schools in India, South Africa and Jordan creating a borderless classroom, where children could learn lessons in citizenship and world peace. In a unique experiment students presented their findings to the other groups, generating a series of suggestions for global citizenship.
