as for the weapons being allowed in the Golden Temple incase of harm.......The Indian Army wasnt planning on just going in one day......they went in cause of weapons, cause of the terrorists....to say the Army went in just for the sake of going in is rubbish.....its the same claim that muslims make that the US is just in there to humilate arabs and muslims, same rubbish, different pile.

It is true that whenever someone does something good there is always people that would do something to bring him down. There have been many 'false' groups that were made in order to bring the roop of 'sikhs' down in peoples eyes.. so people would think that SIKHS are doing all the bad stuff..

Whats with all this 'period period' rubbish? You'd think with all the present information sources somebody would do their research first before making themselves look so stupid. Maybe this person hasn’t had the chance so check the following website out.. www.shaheedkhalsa.com read the articles, newspaper reports, offical documents etc on there and then come back and try discussing your views.

Just to repeat some earlier comments to aid u on your search for the truth, there is absolutely nothing in sikh dharam which restricts a sikh from carrying weapons. Guru ji had the finest weapons of his time, and the singhs wherever possible kept the most upto date arms, with this in mind, it would have been shameful for the singhs in punjab to have the opportunity to have modren arms but to have chosen antiques instead. Also further shame would have been to try to defend the darbar sahib using rubbish eqipment when you had better available. There is no excuse not to use the best resources. Unfortunetly at the time these were limited, and if you wish to see what weapons the singhs were alleged to have used see the Government white paper. Please note that the paper itself has countless contradictions both within itself and when compared with other offical government documents released. As such the arms held by the singhs have been exaggrated by the report, e.g. many of the rifles pulled from the akal takhat rubble are in imacculate condition..strange? Other discrepancies are regarding the number of dead, both innocents, singhs and army personnel. The paper claimed a few hundred soldiers had been killed, this was said so that the worl did not realise the beating the army actually took at the hands of the lions of the guru!

As I said, do your research lad, and stop making yourself look silly, people here have had the same debate for years and years, and rather than repeat it all over again, either use the search engine or use the above mentioned website and other such as the www.sikhlionz.com .

The final result is that the army came to break the backbone of sikhi, to hurt us physically and mentally, they failed, they awoke the sleeping lions and then the lions went to hunt. In any community your gonna get the odd nutcase..... killing innocents is highly condemable in Sikhism so for a Sikh to kill an innocent it would go against the grain of Sikh scriptures and thus no point in the killer being a Sikh.

Pity the same cant be said about the Indian's and others who are dont care if they kill innocent cilvilan people in their thousands. Yet it seems its acceptable for them to commit acts of terrorism on minority population but when one incident happens on the odd occasion it splashed all over the media like as if the whole was about to end.

The Golden temple (Darbar Sahib) is the most holiest shrine of the Sikh faith. Anyone who dares to even look at it with evil intentions deserves nothing but death. Like i said in my previous comments SIKHS ARE ALLOWED TO CARRY ARMS IN THEIR PLACES OF WORSHIP! If you were a Sikh you would have known that.

As for Indian Army having no choice but to storm the temple back in 1984 to flush out so called "terrorists" then why did the Indian army kill so many innocent worshippers, who had come from all over the world just to pray on one of the holiest days of Sikhism. Why didnt they just close of the temple complex and starve the so called "terrorists" of food, water and electricity? I'll tell you why..... because these so called "terrorists" didnt suddenly take over the temple these Soliders of Sikhism were their for more than a year. And when I was a child I even went to the Golden Temple while they were around they didnt harm no one and had up most respect for worshippers and vice versa. The attack on the golden temple was an attack on all Sikhs to "teach them a lesson". But what it has done is put a crack in glass of the Indian Union and the more they oppress the right of peaceful protests and demands of self determination the wider the crack will get until the Union collapses.

As for the director and playwrite of Bhezti, he and that self declared "martyr" bhatti, the wench, just made up death threats to make themselbes look like the poor lil victim's in that whole hoo haa .... no death threats were made otherwise police would have been on the case and charged people by now.

I bet your the kinda guy who logs on various Sikh websites pretending to be one just to stir trouble. If you are a Sikh your probably the kinda guy that attends gurdwara once a year on viasakhi then go back to sessioning in pubs and clubs the next day. :doh:
