Recently we stopped at the Carl's Jr. for some drinks and we were going through the drive threw and i noticed this sign at the ordering box and the window, heres what it said:

Namdharis and randhasoamis know about sikhism very well. They have opened their own shops and their followers are more from Hindus than sikhs.

You can try to convert them back. Try it.

Every religion has good and bad people. Do not classify all Muslims or Christians as bad and do not call all sikhs as saints.

It depends upon an individual's lifestyle whether he follows his religion properly. We should introspect ourselves first where we

stand.

all sikhs are not saints, but we should know what the truth is and what is a lie.  If all religions be true then it really doesn't matter if sikhi is a missionary religions all the paths will lead to God.  But what about the religions that are started these days are they true to like people claiming to be bhagat ravidas or people claiming to be reincarnation of someone.  There are 100s of people like this.  I heard in katha of Maskeen Ji that there were over 80 people just in india claiming to be God.  We have to set a standard to say what is true or not, if not then we can't claim anyone is worng and missionary activity is not needed then.

im saying if we should convert them back to the true religion sikhi then why shouldn't we let other religions know about sikhi. If Sikhi is the Truth shouldn't we spread it to everyone.  If other religions are true then why do we have a problem when a sikh converts to islam or christiannity. 

Im not bashing anyone when i say Sikhi is right and the Radhaswami and Namdhari and other groups like those are wrong. you agree.

so are we to go around like your saying telling people just believe in your faith. saying to hindus believe in your gods and goddesses even more and tell muslims to kill the pagans as the koran says, if you dont believe this please read islamic history and the koran and hadith. it is full of killing christians, jews and pagans.

47:4 "Therefore, when ye meet the unbelievers, smite at their necks, at length when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them) ... but if it had been God's will, he could certainly have exacted retribution from them (himself), but (he lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the way of God, he will never let their deeds be lost."

9:5 "... fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war) ..."

also should we say to radhswami be good radhswami and to the namdhari and other groups.  Who are we to say they are wrong.

well they aren't helping Sikhi and they are turning us back to hinduism and many Udasi deras have idols of hindu gods and there teaching is more connected with hinduism then sikhi and udasi consider Guru Granth Sahib as the fifth Veda.

Also when Namdhari and Radaswami consider themselves to be sikh you agree.

Guru Sahib kicked there sons and other sects during there time out of the panth for going against there order.

So how can these sikhs consider themselves as sikh yet they don't get baptism and its the Hukam Of the 10th Guru.

Many people say that Sikhi is not a missionary religion and that we shouldn't convert anyone to our faith.

but sikh history is against this in that Guru Nanak went to different areas to preach the Truth.

And Guru Amar Das Ji set up 22 Manjis to preach Sikhi and the Piri system which sent 146 devoted Sikhs to preach Sikhi in many parts of the country.

I was reading the Sikh Rehat Maryada and the defination of a Sikh is:

The Definition of Sikh

Article I

Any human being who faithfully believes in

(i) One Immortal Being,

(ii) Ten Nanaks, from Guru Nanak Dev to Guru Gobind Singh,

(iii) The Satigur,

(iv) The utterances and teachings of the ten Nanaks and

(v) the Baptism bequeathed by the tenth Nanak, and who does not owe allegiance to any other faith, is a Sikh.

The fifth point is a Sikh must take the baptism Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji started and now from the punj parias

would that exclude alot of Udasi Nirmala and Sewapanthi Sadhus who say they are Sikh but don't take Amrit.

I don't understand how a Udasi or Nirmala sikh can claim to be a Sikh if he doesn't follow the Hukam of Guru Gobind Sahib by not taking amrit.

I know that alot of Sadhus in puratan times didn't take Amrit, but are they not going against Guru Gobind Sahib Ji's Order.

i recently got a ipaq ebook reader so i can read punjabi books on it, but when i download the books its not in punjabi but its missed up and in random english letters, i read that its hard to install fonts on these ebook readers, can anyone help.

yes you can go to the website and see more newspapers,

the problem i have with them is they charge money after

a month. and you can't print the papers out for free.

I think they should have asked for donations because

more people would help and the material would be spread

recently ive been trying to get books by Giani Ditt Singh of the Singh Sabha movement and other old books, so i can upload them to the internet for everyone to read. And when i wanted to buy them they say that they dont publish them anymore because there old.

Our old books are disappearing and i think that the newer generation will not get to read the older vadvans books.
