Well, I don't find Live discussions on SikhChannel to be any conclusive with any legitimate points to move ahead. They are just vague; the panel head's carry a good rhetoric - but it is just the good rhetoric what they have - they don't have the right global political knowledge on how to move ahead and I think they are quite adamant on even listening to good conclusive points.

I might be incorrect, but these are my honest views.

I am surprised why Sikhs in UK are not exploring this option (asking British Parliament to recognise this as a Genocide after considerable number of signed petitions by Sikhs in UK; it's going to be a hard struggle - but there need to be a point to start). I remember a Live program on SikhChannel "Time to Forget 84"; this option was presented by one of the panel members - but the panel leader had his own vague ideas. On the whole - that program ended in just vague discussions w/o any conclusion. I believe this was the only and conclusive option which was presented by one panel member - which didn't appealed good to the panel head; probably sometimes I think even SikhChannel just wants to air LIVE programs to just gather audience and present some vague things here and there - w/o really knowing what to do next OR even accepting and going ahead with the legitimate solutions; OR some people over there have their own political goals?

Note - only educated people will understand the meaning of this recognition - I didn't found any body in the SikhChannel panel even educated enough to understand the importance of this recognition ... It took 90 years for Armenians to get the genocide of Armenians in Serbia recognised by UN - Serbia always used to refuse to get this recognised ... Same thing has happened now in Canadian Parliament - but atleast they have taken the first step.

  3. Dear Khalsa Jee,

Waheguru Jee Da Khalsa, Waheguru Jee Dee Fateh,

A Live program Air'ed by SikhChannel expressed serious concerns on a new EU regulation being implemented on all UK and European Airports for any headgear/headwear of a person to be hand-searched rather than scanned by a magentron device.

This is very concerning to the whole Sikh community and is basically a racial measure and should be opposed by all means. I have also read instances of some Singhs being forced to remove turbans on US and Spanish Airports earlier; even though there was no alarm beep.

SikhChannel has recommended to write letters to appropriate MPs, what else the Sikh organisations should do? This is a EU regulation; so it is being forced by EU.

    Dear Mahan Singh Jee,

I have sent them the feedback 3-4 times with links to derogatory threads, but no action by them. I believe they are running a low-cost model and have left the forums un-monitored / un-censored.

I did a google for Sikh forums and the second search result was topix.com. Quite unfortunately, I was shocked to find it as an unmoderated / uncensored forum on which all sort of disgraceful people are posting comments on Sikh Gurus / Sikh Maryada and using slang language in quite an easy way. There is no control of topix.com on any of such threads, and repeated sending of Feedback to Topix.com have all been in vain. Also, there is no contact information of topix.com on which it can be contacted.

Khalsa Jee- we need to take a serious action on this URL as it is providing a open unmonitored platform for any body to post any slang. As per Internet IT laws, I believe no body can provide a platform for disgraceful people around the world to post any slang language on preachers / Gurus of any religion.
