I stand up for the minority, I commend those who stand there ground whatever even being wrong that is still a noble trait, I can see no faults but my own ,so I cannot tell you who is more worthy.

I have served as a Director for nine years,I compiled and submitted accounts to companies house without the aid of an accountant I have no interest in checking the figures because I am not the auditor ,as for your grandfather I suggest he would have advised you to directly ask who someone was, and not behind his back I am just saying leave this to the elected representatives.

I do not nose into any Gurdwara accounts,I leave that to you,I do not sneakly ask my cousins who someone is,I proudly use my grandfathers family name ,who was a decorated soldier,I do not hide behind false names

I represent myself ,not anyone else, Iam not directly related to him, although I know who you refer to ,you would do well to be such a stakeholder ,I still go to donate and have done so for the past twent years, Are you jealous of our Hall?

This is my first day on the forum I do not know Gurmat1699 Ji , I am not saying maximise Iam saying they know what funds are required to be generated and have to use the community hall . In a perfect world of plentiful donation you may prescribe indoor games only !

It is valid because when we go and donate is being accepted tacitly, I suggest you run those Gurdwara's to which you belong ,oh sorry they won,t let you !

Brother, we must first explain our position, they are our brothers who are misled by their so called leaders

[ You must submit to the will of the Sangat. I do to my Gurdwara's Sangat not some internet Sikh's calling themselves "UK Sangat"and how can you be a legitimate sangat without a Gurdwara!.

Satkaar are bored and overly proud Sikhs, who needs a cause close to home ,because they are too afraid to go to India.

If i meet you, I will touch your feet and request that you should do the same to your elders and peers or has pride made you blind

Dear brother I love it in the same way you do,If I thought it was being disrespected I would be with you,let me qualify I have no allegiance to the committee, and now live 120 miles away, but because my childhood was spent there and I admire the instituition I did not like people interfering and especially if not contributing.

Dear Singh brother I commend your respect of the Akaal ,I just believe subsidiarity is a better organising principle (In other words let those who donate/contribute ,are on the ground as it were sort these issues out like they do with the day to day operating No respect is being done to the Guru ,you have to draw a separate line between community Halls and Gurdwa, Thanks for your comments, perhaps we can agree to disagree

Dear Self Proclaiming Warrior The highest authority for Sikhs is God, and they are not promoting it , they are just allowing it ,as its not a sin to drink in a community centre, it's a separate place. Regards SinghWarriorGeneral
