Interfaith Peace Walk Event in Broughton Cathedral House, 61 York Pl, Edinburgh,Edinburgh Sunday 29 May 2016, 14:00 Organized by : Edinburgh Inter Faith Association The Edinburgh Inter Faith Association (EIFA) was founded in 1989 to promote and facilitate positive engagement between faith communities of our religiously and culturally diverse city. EIFA is now considered one of the most experience and developed Inter-Faith bodies in the UK. Activities Broughton / Description Join us for EIFA's annual peace walk around some of Edinburgh's places of workship. This year we will be meeting at St Mary's Cathedral, York Place, at 2pm and setting off to walk into Leith. We will pass pass the Baha'i Centre, Annandale Street Mosque, the new Kagyu Samye Dzong Centre, the Hindu Mandir and finish with an Interfaith Peace Service at the Sikh Gurdwara, followed by a shared meal. This is an opportunity to walk together, getting to know other cultures and more about the diversity of our city. All are welcome. Write to info@eifa.org.uk for further details or if you would like to meet with us along the way. The Peace Service will be at approximately 3.45pm at the Gurdwara, 1 Sheriff Brae, EH6 6ER.
