The capitol is located on 10th Street
between N and L Streets in downtown Sacramento

[b]San Francisco Bay Area[/b]: Interstate 80: Take Business 80 (Capitol City Freeway), Exit I-5 North, Exit Q Street up to 10th Street, turn left.

[b]Redding Area[/b]: Interstate 5: Take J Street Exit. Right on 12th Street, right on L Street.

[b]Stockton Area[/b]: Interstate 5: Exit Q Street up to 10th Street. Turn left.

[b]Placerville Area[/b]: Highway 50: Take Interstate 5 North. Exit Q Street. Turn left on 10th Street.

* Code name for the infamous assault by the Indian Army on the holiest of Sikh shrines, the Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple), Amritsar in Punjab, India on a religious holiday in June 1984 resulting in the deaths of thousands of innocent pilgrims including women and children.
