  1. Sat Sri Akal

I want to share one of mine dreams...once a time in my dream..i was somewhere i dont know the place in my dream where was i..but there was a big ground with mountains may be...i am not sure about place in my dream

Suddenly i watched the TEN'TH GURU..so i start run towards GURU ji...GURU JI has lot of things placed near to him..like as diamonds,,gold,,money lot of things( in punjabhi u can say dataan)

So other peoples watched and all start run towards GURU JI...i was too happy because i was first from all and i came to GURU JI.. and satnd there near to things...all of people comed and stand after me in a long line...

GURU JI started to give the things to peoples..but HE told me Sony get side..and he started to deliver things to peoples...I obeyed GURU JI and other hand i stand to watch the peoples..but in my mind i was thinking why GURU JI not giving me even i was the first person come to him...

i was watching the things ,,and GURU JI given it to peoples..so i don't worry there is still lot of things behind..so after people GURU JI give it to me...but after some time peoples are finished and all things are finished,,nothing left there

So i become sad..The GURU JI said me ..hey sony I have only one things for you.if u want i can give it to u..I was sad because all things finished ,,so I answered ok GURU JI.

I gone near to guru ji and forward my enfolded empty hand to GURU JI..

GURU JI. given me GUTKA SAHIB..(NITNEM WALA GUTKA SAHIB)

and said I have only this for u..

    after GURU JI GONE..

Plz can some one tell me what mean of this dreams

i have lot of more dreams related to this dream...i can share with you.

    Bhul chuk muaaf karni

Wow man thats luvly. When you said Guru Ji had a lot of things (diamonds,,gold,,money lot of things), when you remember Guru Ji you get the nine treasurers, you only have to read Ardas to find out this too. I think the reason why Guru Ji have you Gutkha Sahib is because Guru Ji maybe wants you to read gurbani? And the people I think that got the nine treasurers read Gurbani? The fact that you saw Guru Ji is also remembering Guru Ji.

I also think its good to share experiences, to me thats the idea of Sat Sangat. Having theses dreams are good signs.

  2. Its hard to Differentiate a bibi wearing a patka or chunni with a muslim women. Where as a Babi wearing a dastar, you can tell straight away she is a singni of Guru Gobing Singh

This is not true because Muslims wear turbans, Christans and Jews used to wear Turbans. And how many Sikhs today are being confused to being a Muslim, no matter what Pugh or Patkha style you wear? Go to any Islamic country (where sikhi is not known) and the Muslims would even think your Muslim.

The Dastarah/Turbans were worn by Warriors in battle because it protecting them from blows to the head. When Guru Har Gobind started the Akali movement Guru Ji asked them to wear Turbans.

Now what im going to say is controversial to most Sikhs on this forum. Guru Nanak used to wear a topi (Hat). If you see old pictures of Guru Nanak Dev Ji he is seen wearing a Seli topi which is worn by Holy men but im guessing im not going to get anyone agreeing with me because "old pictures theses days there are considered Anti-Sikh". And Shia Muslims have soo much love for Guru Nanak and think of Guru Ji as a great Sufi Saint.

  3. I’m short for time, but I wanted to get this point across. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I have researched that there is no ‘heaven’ or ‘hell’ in the live of Sikhs.

I have seen a number of Sikhs making statements about going to heaven or hell; but what I’ve heard is that we do not believe in ‘heaven’ or ‘hell’ is a concept created through Christianity and also is referred in islam.

The reason being is that heaven creates an image in one’s mind of a beautiful place, where everything is perfect and glorious, yet this would also create imagery in the minds which leads to lust that intoxicates the mind just like any other intoxicating substances. Sikhs must remain focused on god with a clear mind and no other thoughts.

We Sikhs die, our soul reunites with god, our body is burnt away like an empty shell, whilst our soul reunites with god in the same way how a rain drop reunites back with into the sea. If we were to do wrong, we would not go to ‘hell’, but would be ‘incarnated’ - this differs from ‘re-incarnation from Hinduism’ as we come back in human form to live another life, a cycle of endless lives that go no where but in circles.

I just wanted to get this point across to people. Please correct me if I am wrong but this is how I see the concepts of heaven and hell in accordance to sikhi.

To be with SatGuru is Heaven. To be without SatGuru is hell.

    "I have no name"

Can you put the whole bani in rather then picking one line and changing the meaning.

When I read Guru Jis bani which you posted like that, its like i'm reading the ending first before the beginning of the bani.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Pyare Sangat Ji, If you think Guru Gobind Singh Ji was and still should be known as Guru Gobind Rai or Guru Gobind Singh Rai then you do what you feel is right, I only know him as Guru Gobind Singh, Guru also states in dasam granth the value of one without lineage read in to it sangat ji. As for preventing incest by keeping a surname? If you marry a penji with the surname kaur how is that incest? all women everywhere should be as your sisters or mothers anyway, think about it pyare, your marriage is ordained by the Guru not even you. A surname other than singh is not required, if you are part of the khalsa family we should all share the same surname and title singh and kaur.

    "I have no name"

So if your blood sister changes her name to Kaur, does that mean you can marry her? Im not trying to be bad but if you go with this logic years from now, you wouldnt know who your blood sisters or brothers are. Guru Ji also said not to be proud of your jaat, does that mean rejecting it all together? No. Guru Ji also says not to be proud of your wealth, does that mean we have to throw it away? No. Everything that is mines is actually his.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Jassa Ji then why did our king, leader, guide and Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji remove rai as his surname and also accept singh as his surname, what was ment by his action? why did he do it? the Guru himself changed his surname and gave us the surname singh/k aur as this was thechosen surname of the khalsa family, he freed us from the indian caste surname system and also freed women from attachment to her husbands surname. Do not attach yourself to the system become free and ready to go!

The Khalsa brotherhood is a family we have one path, one guru, one god and we should all share the same family name as did the sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

    "I have no name"

In Guru Gobind Singh Jis bani, I dont know if it was in Dasam Guru Granth or Sarbloh Guru Granth. There is a bani which mentions Guru Gobind Singh Jis surname name and clan as Guru Gobind Singh Sodhi Rai. Can someone here put it up?

Would you think Guru Ji as Anti-Sikh because he used his surname?

I've even heard one Singh said that Guru Ji said, "do as not as I do but as what I say". If Guru Ji says this then Guru Ji wouldnt be practising what he is preaching and would be practising falsehood?

I use my surname, because I dont want to be marrying my sister and creating incest. Does who do not know what incest is have a look here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incest

Im so glad ive moved away from fairyland Sikhi, I can live in the real world!

You mentioned that "I have no name", if you look in a spiritual view point we all have no names but have many names! We are all one! Names are a means of calling someone. If we all have the same name, and someone calls you by this one name, then everyone will look to you expecting a reply.

  7. the pride a sikh should feel in his history, a track challenging the caste system, a track going through the basics of sikhi (ie kakkars and rehat), a track on baba deep singh ji, a track about bravery, a track about keeping your kes and not losing your identity and a track about standing up against the darbar sahib being attacked.

This stuff im for. If they had more postive stuff like encouraging Sikhs to keep rehat.

But tracks like, "Wanted dead or alive" on "The second Rising". I don't like, if wasn't a Sikh how would you feel listening to this track?

Im not trying to cause trouble by the way. Please don't put words in my mouth.

  8. You know what I'm going to be the first to stand up to this. I hate theses albums, they are hateful toward Hindus. I have met many Hindus that have said to me that what happend in 1984 was plan wrong. And theses albums that are getting released are making the problem worse. I've seen us Sikhs getting less and less respect and Sikhs now adays have a more thuggish attitude. This is not Chardhi Kala at all.

Sikhs were meant to defend Dharma (Righteousness), which even means Righteousness of other peoples religions, not just ours! This is why Sikhs were respect in the old days. And today to everyone else who is not a Sikhs, we appear to be unrighteousness because some sikhs want Khalistan. When Guru Nanak Dev Ji founded Sikhism, did he need to make a separate state in order to get his message across?

The blacks wanted freedom in USA, did they want a separate state!!??

If us Sikhs want Freedom, the old method wouldn't work. Sikhs are of the Indian country, they are laws we must obey in order to be. Why cant we stay in India?

I wouldn't be surprised if Tigerstyle's album sales have gone down because of theses albums. I have also brought theses Shaheedhi albums. But I'm not going to buy them any more! Only Sikh stuff now im buying or downloading are going to be about Kirtan, Khata, Simran.
