I had very interesting talk with a learned Sikh history working at the library in havelock gurdwara and the conversation basically went like this and ended with a question :
1. India was first attcked in 652 by the Turkhs - Muslims
2. Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born a Hindu in 1469
3. Therefore India was defended between 652 - 1469 ( 900 years) by brave HINDUS, which ensured that by the time of Guru Nanaks birth he was born a HINDU
4. Had these HINDUS not defended India so well ( between 652-1469), the whole of PUNJAB would have been Muslim by the time Guru Nanak was born, and he himslef would have been born a Muslim ,and hence no SIKHI???
5. These Punjabi Hindus are our ANCESTORS!!! So who were they? I respect BRAVERY from any religion and race so I give these poeple RESPECT!
BUT WHO WERE THEY? ANYONE KNOW BOUT THIS PERIOD 652 TO 1469?
I would say someones got an twisted agenda here Yaar. My prognosis would is for you to be less HARDCORE YAAR and be more honourable & righteous as a true Sikh is. Thats if you are truely a Sikh :gg:

Now instead of burning the books, sending him to hell and all sorts . . .Why not -
Officially Ban the book from takht sahib, get the printing press to stop producing, Collect all his books, get an official appology and make him tankaya from takht sahib, then find out who else had a hand in the pathetic book and do similar things to those.
Where is this individual from? where does he stay? and numbers?

Soft target is pure theory. Some of the stuff is pure speculation. The fact is that Parmer had brought his nine bedroom house in 1973 before the movement had kicked off but lots of people make out he used money form the movement to buy his house(s).
If Soft target is "pure theory and pure speculation", then why is it banned in the "largest demockery" in the world? I dont see other countries (democracies) such as US or UK banning books that point the finger at their internal governments.

I came across this picture/painting of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Bebe Nanaki Ji below. Though people say that this isn't real and it's a mere fallacy.
KK please can you provide the name of the person who painted this image as well as the birth date and date of death just so that I and others know for definite that he/she was around during Guruji's time and also so we can research other paintings done by them
