Awwww, i remember my amrit sanchar like yesterday. When it came to my eyes they said look at sri guru granth sahib ji (dayan guru maharaj val!!!!) Yeah I can replace the skins of the tabla. The rattling noise is probably one particle of the shahi (the black stuff) that is loose and vibrating everytime. I know what you mean can be really horrible sometimes. Post your email if you're interested in your tabla being repaired.

Whats wrong with a copper duggi? I thought it was the best for bass out of steel + brass. Btw 'Akirtghan' DTF in Birmingham sell some good tabla(s). I've actually seen them so if u want a small journey to B'ham rather than southall then try DTF.
