The first words that ever appeared through this domain name were “Welcome to the future home of KEERTAN.ORG…a website dedicated to HIS name” in early 2000, when the first Radio version of this website was being constructed. Although over eight years have passed since Keertan.Org was blessed with the seva of spreading keertan across the world, the spirit, faith, and love behind those very first words continue to embody the mission and goal of this website. We are at the service of Guru Sahib and the Khalsa Panth alone, and seek only to proliferate open access to the beauty of Gurbani, Gursikhee, and Sangat.

I cannot install STTM on my Blackjack II which is running Windows Mobile 6.1

I have followed the directions but when I open the Pocket PC 2003 Runtime file (msvbppc.cab), the blackjack says "Installation of msvbppc.cab was unsuccessful. The installation file is not intended for this device."

I receive the same error if I start the setup of the actual "BaniTranslationTool" program.

Please help me! :gg:

Would it be possible to add a feature that exports to UNICODE Gurbani? This would make it easy for people to put Gurbani along with transliteration/translation on the internet.

iRiver makes a bunch of products that offer MP3 recording. You can either record with an external microphone directly into the iRiver mp3 player, or can connect a line-in wire from an audio mixer into the mp3 player.

It makes more sense that the 8.4 million "number" is not meant to be taken literally as fact. It's just an exaggeration to tell us that there are A LOT of life forms to go through.

For quality work, anywhere from $100-$200 dollars is acceptable for JUST a .PSD design. If you're paying less, you may not be getting nice work done (or you may be exploiting a friend :lol: ). I suggest you poll a Freelancer Forum instead of posting one here. You will get more accurate answers as these places have very active marketplaces.

Valid XHTML/CSS Coding varies from $40-80 depending on who you can find in the freelance world. PHP integrations usually increases the price.

For example, complete coding of a .PSD design to XHTML/CSS Wordpress integrated design usually costs about $120-$150.

If it is for SEVA then don't spend too much money on design...focus on content :|

But for business, you should definitely go all out. And don't hire random companies from India! They are bad news.

A heightened sense of awareness is a very important part of Sikhi and comes up many times in Gurbani. According to "Pearls of Heart" by Bhai Jaspal Singh, a Gursikh should hone his or her awareness in order progress spiritually...the real gursikhs i have seen always seem alert and aware of where they are, what they are doing/saying, and of guru sahib presence.

A quick STTM english search for "awareness" or "consciousness" will give you some answers also.

I found two rare extracts from Bhai Vir Singh Jee's famous Sri Kalgidhar Chamatkar on Keertan.Org in celebration of Guru Gobind Singh Jee Maharaj's Gurpurabh. Please check it out and read them if you can. They are broken down into parts so that the reader can follow along more easily; Bhai Vir Singh Jee was indeed a very prolific author and he never restricted the length of his beautiful writings.

I've had mixed experiences with sikhlink.

A year ago I ordered some Sri sahibs and they were rusted. Also, the cases were bent.

However, recently, I ordered two nitnem gutkas and they are perfect.
