Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

Hey everyone i've got some brilliant news for you all, Southampton’s Sikh Youth have organised a Rainsbhai Keertan.

Southampton has got a fair sized Sikh Community, however for some reason has lacked when it comes to promoting and spreading Sikhi.

A few members of the sangath, which mainly include the youth want to and are gradually making change, so that we don’t have to travel out of Southampton in order to attend Keertan Smagams and find Gursikh Sangath.

Hence we now have Punjabi classes, gurbani class, keertan classes, which includes a Gurmat Sangeet class, Youth Kirtan Jatha, Gatka Akaara, Sikh Youth Committee and a Sikh Society at the University of Southampton.

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj clearly states the highest of highest virtue in the dark ages of Kaljug is to recite the glorious praises of Akaal Purukh Vaheguru.

The youth of Southampton and a few other members of the Sangath have together organised a Rainsbhai Keertan (all night keertan). Please do come along with family and friends.

    Date : Saturday 27th-Sunday 28th June 2009
