  1. I sincerely thank you for attending to my response and giving your input. It is understood that when one gets the naam for simran at amrit sanchar [khande bate pahul].What is that .Is that not Naam for sikhs.? Kindly clarify.I shall be grateful.
  2. Dear sir, Can you give the exact link so that I can also listen+ from where can have I dvd/cd as mentioned by you. Thanks & Regards
  3. Dear friend, You are very kind that you have answered all my answers. 1. I understand , though not sure, that the first voice that was uttered by the GOd at the time Of creation was Ong. 2. Is The sound created by ONG the Naam? Thanks and regards
  4. Waheguru... Ji, I felt like I was loaded with heavy questions...Just looking at them made my back stiff...lol... What would the lines mean where SGGS has a reference that Nanak is blessed with the Naam and the same is given by the Almighty? Nanak is blessed with naam, and the naam is given by god himself...When we are infants, we can't talk and tell our mothers we are hungry...We cry to let her know...And yet it is up to her if she wants to feed us or not...Most likely she will because she doesn't want her child to suffer...Treat Naam as milk and god as mother...and think about this... Our souls cry without god, our REAL mother, we suffer without him...So since a mother can't see its child cry, lord feels heartbroken for us...and blesses us with Naam...Many forget Naam and suffer by doing the wordly sins...and those who remember it...are blessed...their suffering ends... So the line means: You are my child and I give you my Naam to end your sufferings of Anger,Attachment,Greed,Lust, and Arrogance... Also there is a claim the he has met the God. How is it possible as he is formless. How can a human being meet someone who is formless and further the god is described as beautiful. How can a formless thing be beautiful. Can you see your soul???...You can see your body but can you see your soul???...Have you wondered that when you pick up a book or write with your pencil it is your hand that does it, but what is it in you thats making you do this...Who is???...Your soul... He gave you a body so you can be called beautiful...But no matter how beautiful your body is...It doesn't matter...It won't matter...It'll be pointless to you...You may be arrogant about your beauty but it'll be washed away with age...But as you get old, people start thinking your getting ugly, but your inside will still say that you're beautiful...You would know that your not anymore...But something inside you says that you are beautiful...maybe it'll be you be talking about the formless you or the soul of yours... You'll be surprised but people never meet themselves forget god for that matter...They never discover themselves...They get illusioned by the beautiful body that they forget the beauty of naam that god sent them with... How can you meet god: Your souls are formless and so is god...They can meet... How is formless god beautiful: If you think you're beautiful being the formless soul that you are...then imagine how beautiful your creator is...You'll be shocked to see such beauty... Ji, your questions make one think about the lord...They are wonderful... Very many thanks Friend for detailing out even the small descriptions.Yes, I understand almost all that you have authored because it has been authored so nicely. It is better if I number my queries so that you can answer them easily. 1.It is stated in sikhism that 'waheguru' is the Naam.If that be so why should Granth sahib ji is having tuks that Only those are blessed who have their Karmas or pre ordained destiny that they would get Naam. Is waheguru not enough. If it is then what is in the Granth sahib ji. I am flattered that my questions are wonderful.I am sure these are not nuisance. Regards.
  5. One when tries to leqrn about your religion ,one visits many forums .I had the chance to visit some forum where sometimes back the topic of discussion was if Nanak ji was waheguru. To me he was a guru only. What do you think.I shall be grateful if you quote from gurbani eitherway whether you agree or do not agree. Regards to all

  7. Thank you Munjoth ji for nice explanation Of Akath Katha and also advising me that it can be heard only if one is in Fourth state of spirituality. My appreciation is not like yours.I am grasping the concept. What is the meaning of 5 elements.
  8. Naam is voice Of God.Kindly confirm ? Why should GOD create a voice.Naam is given by Satguru...i.e by the GOD.. Then 'wahegutu' is not the Naam as per that you have stated. Is it so? I am confused.I stop here in anticipation that you would kindly clarify this.
  9. 1. Eh netr mero har tum meh jot dhari,............ It is understood that HE has put the vision in the eyes. Nest line speaks that har bin avar na dekho koi......repeat....... Question: God has given the eye but the purpose is also stipulated that is we are not to see anyone else. Please correct me. I shall not speculate on the meaning elase the thread becomes meaning less. 2.Eh neter andh say..satguru milaye dribdusht hovaya..... Ok. The question that I shall ask you is the meaning Of satgur...meeting whom the vision becomes dribdrisht. Is satgur God here.?Please answer in the context. If yes, then we are taliking of the stage when we have met the GOD. This is not our stage. Contd... The biggest thing is Gurprasad i.e nadar or the grace of God. Well it is amorphous term. No one knows the criterion when there would be Glance of HIS grace....Thus the question of vision becoming drib- drisht is not solved. It is dependent upon HIM. Please not I have not asked as to how Guru ji met HIM. Primary question is how a formless can look beautiful to anyone .Your answer is Drib-drishth.It is dependent upon HIS grace. Every thing comes back to HIM. Thanks for wonderful treatment ,Sir. I am oblidged. My allied question was why Nanak ji is asking for NAAM as per the SGGS when the Naam is 'waheguru' as confirmed in the post above yours.KIndly be grateful to answer.i.e what is the reference to naam in SGGS ji. Thanks and regards again.
  10. Thanks a lot for your informative reply and that was nicely presented. I think half the problem is over.As you have confirmed that 'waheguru' is the naam it stands to little logic that I have is to ask what would the lines mean where SGGS has a reference that Nanak is blessed with the Naam and the same is given by the Almighty. Also there is a claim the he has met the God. How is it possible as he is formless. How can a human being meet someone who is formless and further the god is dewcribed as beautiful. How can a formless thing be beautiful. Hope these questions will also be attended to,. Regards to all.
  11. I expect a good response from this site.I hope my name is not to do with the response. Rest assured I am as serious as you are in learning and practising sikhi.
  12. I shall be very grateful for your inputs. It is almost half a day that no one has cared to reply.
