  1. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

    Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

    http://www.babanandsinghsahib.org/virtues/nam.htm

    All Seven Crore Pores

    Aglow with Immortal Nam

An indescribable melody of ‘Waheguru’ from each and every pore (rome) of Babaji’s bare wrist struck father’s ear and rushed deep into his soul giving him a sublime taste of Nam Ras.

t was in Chotta Thaath after the ‘Samapti’ of evening programme that Mahan Babaji got up from His Asan and took leave of the sangat in His characteristic humility. As Babaji came out, Father after picking up the cloth chappals of Mahan Babaji placed those in front of His holy feet. Mahan Babaji while putting His holy feet in the chappals placed His hand on one of the shoulders of father for support. Babaji’s bare wrist happened to touch father’s ear. An indescribable melody of ‘Waheguru’ from each and every pore (rome) of Babaji’s bare wrist struck father’s ear and rushed deep into his soul giving him a sublime taste of Nam Ras.

Close physical proximity, Babaji’s holy hand resting on father’s shoulder, gentle bare forearm of Babaji touching father’s left ear, melodious chanting of Waheguru issuing forth from every pore of Babaji’s forearm sent father in maddening ecstasy. Embrosial Nam bursting forth from every pore of Babaji’s Eternal Being got enshrined in father’s heart and filled his whole being with spiritual joy. Father stumbled on his feet and was about to fall but Babaji kindly held him up. Thus blessed, with his heart completely illumined

and intoxicated with Amrit Nam, father looked up in deep gratitude, and was further blessed with a most wonderful glowing spark of Grace in the elevating glance of Mahan Babaji.

This elixir of nam emanating from every pore of the embodied Lord seeped deeply into father’s heart and soul and filled him with ever lasting Bliss.

About this unique experience, father once told me that in hearing the divine melody of Amrit Nam from the holy pores of Babaji’s body, he had experienced a real taste of nam ras - atam ras - prem ras. He had felt as if he had touched the very source of Amrit Nam and he had been completely drenched in the Ocean of the Nectar of Nam. He further remarked that Amrit Nam itself had incarnated as Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj and His holy form was the Viswa Swaroop of Amrit Nam, and all the seven crore pores of His holy body were continuously chanting the Divine Nam every moment of His whole life.

As narrated earlier, each pore of the body of Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj was vibrant with the immortal Nam; a strange and miraculous phenomenon. It was supreme expression of the Gupt and immortal Nam of God otherwise unheard of and unseen. The Supreme Divine Truth was in its most wonderful and perfect play in a human garb. His physical body was the very form of immortal Nam; it was an indivisible part of Truth and Eternal - Light. His divine body was the greatest source of blessedness for the whole creation. Such was the blazing and divine personality of Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj. Mighty rays of the immortal Nam radiated from every pore of His body and so grandly and overwhelmingly enveloped and overpowered father as to fill him with Bliss-Supreme. Father’s heart and mind always remained tuned to this most enchanting and divine melody directly received from the holy pores of Baba Nand Singh Ji’s arm.

The outcome of this grace was beatific. After his retirement, his face, mind, thought and soul were totally turned towards his beloved Master. His intense longing, yearning, craving

for realising his Baba Ji face to face had assumed proportions of total madness in love. His only prayer to Mahan Baba Ji, in totality of his burning love, was Baba Ji himself. He begged Baba Nand Singh Ji only, from Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj. He coveted his beloved Baba Nand Singh Ji alone to the exclusion of everything else. The whole world had paled into insignificance in comparison with his magnificent object of love. He wept bitterly after physical separation from the Master and was granted direct face to face vision when he had resolved to end his life unable to bear the pangs of separation any more.

    Nanak Jachak Dar Terai

    Prabh Tudh Nu Mangai Daan

    Sri Guru Granth Sahib (218)

Nanak, the Mendicant, is standing at Thy Altar, O Lord And Begs only Thyself O Lord as Charity.

Hunger for God and hunger for worldliness cannot co-exist. A lover of God does not crave for worldly things and pleasures of the senses. He wants the Lord and the Lord alone to the exclusion of everything else. He is totally immersed in all- absorbing love of the beloved Lord.

Such is the sublime power of the Immortal Nam that it illumines the craver's body and the soul with Eternal Light. It fills him to the brim with its elixir and nectar, the holy flavour and fragrance of which is the greatest blessing to the world. The Glory of Nam Swarup Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj Shines eternally.

When the body repeats the Holy Name, Soul benefits, when the Self (soul) repeats the Holy name, the world benefits.

    Baba Narinder Singh Ji

He begged and prayed for Prema Bhagti from Mahan Babaji. He yearned and begged for His love only from his Lord of Love. He never craved for anything worldly or even for Mukti.

He was totally possessed by Divine Love. His life was a perpetual burning incense of love and no one who came in contact with him could remain unaffected and untouched by the fragrance of this strong incense of love, love of Mahan

    Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj.

This pure love of Mahan Babaji was the primary feature of his personality and, the real beauty and glow that radiated from his face.

Divine Love is an inexhaustible and indescribable Bliss experienced only by true Lovers. It is a wonderful mystic experience confirming the truth of the adage that God is Love and Love is God.

  2. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

    Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

Wherever Keertan, Naam or Bani is going on then there the Jamdoots NEVER go. And a gursikh is always reciting naam with every swaas, so the jamdoots never attack him/her, also Dharamraj does not give the gursikh punishment, so he is one with waheguru, his soul merges with wahegurus and so in reality we are waheguru in a way.....

think about it, or soul is not bad, our soul wants to go back to its source which is waheguru, but it is our man (mind) which leads us away from waheguru. Lets say our soul is a jewel, (the jewel is waheguru) but we cannot see the jewel because it is covered with dust (past bad karma) in order to see the jewel we must wipe away the dust, how do we do this?

We can ONLY achieve this with the kirpa of the Satguru who is Guru Granth Sahib Ji....we wipe away the dust with the cloth of naam, bani keertan!

    Kaljug Meh Keertan Pardhana

This article is written by a rare enlightened soul who has been truly

blessed with this top spiritual state : ATAM RUS.

TOP SPIRITUAL STATE : ATAM RUS

    ==============================

One God Who’s Name is “Truth” - Great Great Supreme God Supremely

    Transcendant.

Supreme God Supremely Transcendant and the one who He resides within -

the Brahmgiani, enjoy a special continuous divine union. This bliss

is known as ATAM RUS. The complete Satguru’s truly pure heart enjoys

the Immortal Being’s presence 24 hrs a day.

    “UT PAHAR PRABH BASAY HAJOORAY.

    KAHO NANAK SOEE JAN POORAY.

The one in whom the Lord resides 24 hrs a day.

Nanak: that one is Completely Perfect.”

    (Sukhmani Sahib)

This union gives rise to the greatest joy – MAHA ANAND. In the heart

of God’s bride, the perfect divine light of her soul is united with

the Supreme Soul. This give rise to blossoming love and divine

intoxication. The one who enjoys this ATAM RUS is the Khalsa. Guru

    Gobind Singh Ji :

“ATAM RUS JEH JAANEE SO HA KHALSA DEV”

Infact only the Bramgiani (Knower of God) - the Sada Suhagan (Eternal

Bride) - the complete Satguru (Pooran Satguru) - the KHALSA has

experience of ATAM RUS. This state is higher than AMRIT. There are

three types of Amrit that people think of :

    1) Khanday bhattay da amrit – Sikh initiation ceremony

    2) Naam and Bani Amrit.

    3) Ek Boond Amrit.

(There is another article that describes these).

The only ones who can enjoy this highest level of divine joy – ATAM RUS

    – are those upon whom the Eternal Being has be

    stowed his mercy. The

ones who have taken support of the Perfect Lord. The ones who have

meditated upon the perfect Satguru and followed his instructions. Not

being separate from the Perfect Lord, they have become one and the

same. The Perfect Lord has come to reside in their heart. And they

are totally engrossed in always singing and praising God.

“POORA PRABH ARAADHIAA POORA JA KA NAO.

NANAK POORA PAAIAA POORAY KEH GUN GAO.”

“Take the support of the Perfect Lord, who’s Name is also Perfect.

Nanak: merging into the Perfect One, sing the praises of the Perfect

    One.”

    (Sukhmani Sahib)

In the eighth verse of Sukhmani Sahib, Guru Arjun Dev ji describes the

qualities of a Brahmgiani. Guru ji says that in the mind and heart of

a Brahmgiani radiates the perfect Supreme Light of God, just like the

rays of the sun shine in the sky. Only the Bramhgiani knows this

    state.

“BRAHMGIANI KA MAN HOI PRAKAASH. JAISA DHAR OOPAR AKASH.

BRAHMGIANI SAGAL KEE REENA. ATAM RUS BRAMHGIANI CHEENA.

The brahmgiani’s mind is full of God’s Supreme Light, just as the sky

    is above the earth.

The Brahmgiani is the dust of everyone and the Brahmgiani enjoys ATAM

    RUS.”

    (Sukhmani Sahib)

Guru Gobind Singh Ji writes that the only one worthy to be called a

Khalsa, is the one whose heart lotus is filled with the Supreme Light

of the Supreme Lord. And the Khalsa is only that one who enjoys ATAM

RUS. Guru Gobind Singh Ji emphasises that the one within whom there

is God’s Perfect Light (POORAN JOT) and God’s enjoyable union (ATAM

RUS) – then there is no difference between that one and God. No

difference between that one and Guru Gobind Singh Ji himself!

“POORAN JOT JAGAY GHAT MEH TAB KHALAS, THAHI NI-KHALAAS JAANAY.”

The one within whose heart the Perfect Light is lit is Khalsa, all

    others are not Khalsa.”

    And

“ATAM RUS JEH JAANEE SO HA KHALSA DEV.

    PRABH MEH,

MO MEH, TAAS MEH, RANCHAK NAHIN BHEV”

The one who enjoys ATAM RUS is the Khalsa.

There is no difference between them and God or them and me.”

The Tenth Father, Guru Gobind Singh Ji has said the Khalsa is his body

and breath, the very life of his life, friend and companion, perfect

Satguru and brave friend. Guru ji gives the Khalsa endless praise and

glory and greatness. Guru ji even says that his method of meditation

is to sit and focus on the Khalsa!

Nowadays, most people do not know the real meaning of the words “ATAM

RUS”. In Punjab, great gatherings of people at Kirtan programmes are

organised for an even greater amount of money by a handful of

religious singing groups (Ragi Juthas). The title of these events

tends to contain the words : “ATAM RUS”. However, it is the

extremely rare one who really has searched for and been blessed with

the real ATAM RUS. These events are actually not bestowing you with

ATAM RUS, but with KANEE RUS meaning pleasure for the ears with sweet

music. And these events are organised for making money – which they do

    very well.

ATAM RUS is above MAYA (mammon : things that distract you from God).

ATAM RUS is only experienced by those great spiritual warriors with

truthful hearts who have defeated the five thieves (anger, greed, lust,

attachment and pride). The ATAM RUS enjoyment is higher than anything

in the world including all the sacred languages, words and letters that

try to describe it. ATAM RUS is beyond description, beyond singing

about it, and beyond the majority of those who are describing and

singing about it. Ultimately ATAM RUS can only be known by

experiencing it in your own heart.

    “EH AKHAAR KHIR JAAIGEH

    OH AKHAAR IN MEH NAHI”

These letters will not last forever,

    God is beyond these letters.”

    (Bhagat Kabir Ji in SGGS)

    Humbly yours

    Atam Khojee (Soul Searcher)
