There was a march today from Baba Deep Singh Gurdwara through Soho road to West Midlands Police Headquaters Llyod House.

Singhs Marched in protest about the tacktics muslims are using to convert girls.

News cameras were there, just wanted to know if no one is going to Cov or smethwick tonight if they can record the news. BBC1 should be on for 10:25 and ITV at 23:25. just double check on a tv guide... I'm curious about what the media have to say.

cadburys were taken to court and fined i think not long ago for having salmonela in their products....

BTW, i used to work in the IT department at Cadburys in Bournvile Birmingham few years ago and the workers used to come and eat their sausge egg breakfasts in their work outfits on... Even smoke in their food protective clothing... yuck!!!

bruv shut ur mouth. puratan sikhs lived there lives wishing for death because they knew that when it came it would be for guruji and khalsa panth. the problem is that not enough ppl have this attitude. u talk about goals in life? bruv u stick to ur money making schemes. dont pretend that this isnt wat u meant. where will that get u? all actions ova then rememberance of god and service to humanity are not off any use.

I mean to say is, we don't have no voice as sikhs in Britain, in Politics (someone who can voice our concerns in the house of commens or the media etc)

Were the new generation of sikhs, why can't we see a Gursikh with a flowing beard in the house of commons who can be a voice for us..

If you look at other religions, there all standing there, expressing their views and concerns.

Islam have so many tv channels to educated their followers, all we get is the typical punjabi stuff.

We've got loads and loads of gurdwaras, but none of the comitee members will allow anyone to talk openly on stage, whats the point making gurdwaras if we cant do parchars, their just businesses open for the comitee members.

I went to gurdwara today, and the kirtani wanted to explain to the sangat what the marriage ceromony is all about in sikhi terms, he wasn't even allowed to do that, makes me sick..

If anyone has any ideas on ways to promote what sikhi really is for the eyes of the UK and other countrys, please feel free to comment..

Divide and Rule, it's how it happened in the past with sikhs.. and this technique is being used on us sikhs now, we need to stop fighting with each, learn to get along, and make our Guru jee proud of us.

i ain't changing the subject... im saying to the sikh youth to use their brains instead of their fist's...

i was just thinkin to my self that you have all these boys and girls that sum of u may see on hi5 and stuff and they callin them self sikhs and no1 jatts and all that crap, they walk round with khanda necklaces and rings and go clubbin and drink and smoke, same with the girls

and i was wondering to my self that what if guru gobind singh ji came back right now in human form with all his singh, what would be the reaction to those youths faces, like if it would be a big shock, would they quikly covert into a full singh and same with the girls that cut there hair and wear very little cloths and stuff, what would you think they would do?

this is the reason why sikhi is falling and dividing...

every year at vaisakhi mela's its the same old.... fights going on at the mela(park)... if the Gurdwara cometees put in money to the nagar kirtan/park mela, then why cant they invest their money in SECURITY or POLICE??? instead you get sikh kids trying to do what the securtiy should...

These kids dont have a brain at all... they got no goals in life, i'm talking about Amritdhari sikhs, why are they always trying to act like wanna be shaheeds, that they can do the same and take control of anything they want??

I don't blame the just the kids entirly, it's the gurdwara comitee, too TIGHT to spend money were its needed, instead they rather have rides with loud music etc which attracts thugs who wanna just cause trouble...

Dont you all think that if there was sooo much more parchaar done on SIKHI at the mela instead of all the other rubbish? These thugs will never come back again...

I'm not sure where the source of this story is from, but Guru Gobind Singh Jee one day, got a blanket (chardar) and poured rice on it, he told some singhs to let the dogs have it... the dogs were let loose and teared the chadar and rice went all over the place wasted... none of the dogs got any food cuz they fought at each other...

Guru jee said this is hows its gonna be in the future with sikhs.. they gonna fight amongst each other and loose what eva they got.

The elder generation are into jatha's and seat's and votes... are we gonna follow footsteps of them or are we ever gonna get along with each other? regardless of what jatha you do sangat with..

The solution to make sikhi strong is EKTA... Stop fighting which jatha is better or correct. Our generation can make a difference/change...
