  1. It has been brought to my attention that Sikh Missionary Society has kicked out two Sikh Youth groups. One is a Khalsa kids sunday school for young children and the other is discussion group for teenagers. Neither was promoting anything but Sikhi, but Sikh Missionary have said as organisers are Taksali, they have to leave the premises.

What has the world come to? Sikhi parchar to youth should be paramount in all, and yet we still see some backward thinking like this.

  2. Ikoankar Sat Gur Prasad!

    Sri Vaheguru Ji Fateh!

-- Granth Panth Khalis Vartanta --

Jatha Nihang Singha - Press Release

The Tenth Master, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj immortalised their role in history at the Vaisakhi Amrit Sanchar of 1699. By bowing before the Khalsa Panth and asking to receive the immortal nectar, Amrit, the world would for centuries chant “Great great is Guru Gobind Singh, He is both the Master and Servant”. This humble legacy created by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji is evident in their writings contained within the Sri Sarbloh Granth, in which a portion of the scripture is dedicated to the praise of the dual institution of Guru Granth and Guru Panth.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of the CD titled ‘Granth Panth Khalis Vartanta’ – ‘Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji showers the Khalsa Panth with boons and blessings.’ The first track on the CD features recitation of Gurbani by Baba Sukhdev Singh from Sri Sarbloh Granth in praise of the Guru Khalsa Panth and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Following this there is discourse on select verses by Jathedar Baba Tarlok Singh Ji Khyale Vale.

The writings of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji form the root of the Khalsa Panth, as shall be evident from this discourse. It is the writings of the Tenth Guru which expound the Khalsa Rehat and declare the supreme divine magnificence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji whom grants the Khalsa Panth with boons and blessings. One also finds in the Bani contained on the CD reference to the Sikh kakkars, origins and greatness of Vaheguru Mantr, Creation of the Khalsa, living standards for the Khalsa to adhere to and the importance of Gurbani Santhiya. Evidently, this work poses substantial importance for those seeking to understand and replicate the historically legitimate practises and beliefs of the Khalsa Panth in its purest form.

Jathedar Baba Tarlok Singh, being a well recognised scholar of the Sikh faith and a member of the warrior saint Nihang Singh community, eloquently presents this unique landmark in which he fluently elaborates on some of the most fundamental aspects of the Sikh faith. He draws upon history, tradition, philosophy and wider literature to contextualise the content at hand and bring a greater level understanding to the listener. The diversity of knowledge contained within the discourse ranges from meditation technique to stories of Sikh heroes who attained the supreme Khalsa status as described by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

The CD will be available free of charge around the world at various Nagar Keertans at Vaisakhi 2010. To participate and do seva in your city please contact: media@nihangsingh.org.

The CD will also be available to download free of charge on www.NihangSingh.org

  3. Following the peace talks between the factions of Budha Dal, Panth Patshah Jathedar Baba Surjit Singh Ji 96 crori presented himself before magistrates' yesterday evening in order to clear his name from the criminal cases which he has been falsely associated with.

Sikh Jathebandia and Sangata have rallied to provide the upmost support to their chosen leader of Budha Dal and to ensure that Baba Surjit Singh receives no ill treatment while in police custody. It is hoped that timely resolvement of the cases will ensure allowing for the Budha Dal to flourish under the guidance of its General. Jathedar Baba Surjit Singh Ji has spent the last majority of his life serving the Panth and it is now the Panth's time to serve him.

  5. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Over the past several years the NeverForget84.com team has been working on the sole aim of preserving the history of our great Shaheeds. The majority of all Shaheedian have become Gupt, their history and Jeevanis lost forever.

We believe we owe it to our Mahaan Shaheeds to know as much about each individual sacrifice as we can. If we learn about them, their sacrifices will not have been made in vain. This is as we can learn why those sacrifices were made and ensure that for at least one generation their legacy will live on.

As days pass it is a fact that our rich albeit very recent history is being lost. We have been fortunate in our work over many years to make contacts in various media agencies & outlets which have rare material for sale of Jujharoos including video clips, interviews and original photographs which have not been seen for 20+ years. We need your help to acquire this.

Also, to commemorate the passing of the 25th anniversary of the massacres in 1984 (Operation BlueStar and Delhi Massacres), we will be publishing booklets consisting of detailed information on the great Shaheeds of the movement.

These booklets will be part of a large collection of publications, which will be published in the very near future. These will in turn create the foundation of a unique piece of history; an Encyclopaedia of all the Jujharoos of all Jathebandis which fought for Sikh freedom.

We need the collective support of the Sikh Sangat in order to take our work to the next platform, which will enable us to share treasured items of Sikh history to millions, and in doing so guarantee that the legacy of our Shaheeds lives on forever.

Having exhausted all personal resources, we are for the first time in 5 years appealing for assistance from the Sangat.

This message is being sent to you as one of thousands of Sikhs. All we need from you is a one-off commitment of £1 or £2. If you believe as a do that the honour and memory of our Shaheeds is worth preserving please support us:
