    May we know why hes being held by immigration officers?

    I believe he is facing an issue with his visa and stay in Tokyo from last several years. He has 3 children and wife who are dependent on him. I am not aware of what exact reasons are, as I am posting this after reading his wife's post on facebook for this petition. I am in US these days so dont know all the details.

    Dear Sadsangat Ji

    Next week, I am travelling to Milwaukee city in Wisconsin state in US from India to work from my company's client location there. Kindly let me know if there are any areas, where I can have Sikh neighbours and Gurdwara Sahib in Milwaukee. Me & my wife both are going to US for the first time as I am expected to stay there for a long time( 1 year or so). Is there any help for finding decent accommodation there nearby punjabi/Sikh families? So far by doing google over milwaukee & Sikh combination, I got mostly articles related to racism. I get a feeling that Milwaukee is black people dominated city from the articles.

    My office is located in downtown region of Milwaukee so is looking for an accommodation which should be reachable by some public transport from my office place as I don't know driving.

    If any member of the sanagat knows anything about this place, please provide me information as much as possible.

    And do I need to take any extra care about turban in US Airports as it was in a lots of talk earlier that they tell Sikhs to remove turbans at airports for scanning.

    One killed in Dera-Sikh clash, Punjab on alert

    Chandigarh: One person was on Friday killed in a clash between a group of Sikhs and Dera Sacha Sauda supporters in Dabwali town in Haryana's Sirsa district, prompting police in neighbouring Punjab to go on high alert.

    The clash broke out after an altercation between two sides during morning prayers naamcharcha of Dera supporters in Dabwali, about 60 km from here, Deputy Commissioner V Umashankar said.

    "One person belonging to the group of Sikh supporters slipped and fell down and was killed in the brickbatting during the clash," he said.

    Umashankar said that the district administration had not been told about the Dera programme in advance.

    "Generally, we are informed about any naamcharcha by the Dera people, but this time we had no information because of which we could not take any action.

    "It was a small prayer congregation in which about 30-35 people from Dera side were present and the Sikh group numbered about 50. There was some altercation between the two groups after which they clashed and pelted stones at each other," he told PTI.

    He said tension has been brewing up in Dabwali and Sirsa, the headquarters of the Dera, whose head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is at loggerheads with the Sikhs.

    Additional forces including two companies (200 personnel) of Rapid Action Force has been deployed in Sirsa and Dabwali to prevent any untoward incident, he said.

    Some Sikhs from Punjab have also reached here and protesters have blocked Sirsa-Bathinda road, sources said.

    Meanwhile, in Punjab a high alert has been sounded and additional forces were being deployed around sensitive places, including Salabatpura in Bathinda, which had in the past witnessed tension between Dera supporters and Sikhs.

    "We want to appeal to everyone to help maintain peace. As a precaution, we have stepped up security around Deras and other sensitive places," Punjab's Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Chandershekhar told PTI in Chandigarh.

    In June, one person was killed in firing by a bodyguard of Dera chief in Mumbai during an altercation with a group of Sikhs, leading to violence.

    Its a beutiful world full of a combination of political & spritual life for a person ..lol

    In a way I find your spritual avasta in next level so thats y I feel you find any political threads(as per your description) as racist or offensive to you(many of them become offive to me too at times). Infact I also feel that the heading of the other thread is a little harsh as it is grouping entire hindu community in bad light.

    I give you an insight of life in India..its very normal there to become a laughing stuff in a majority or in a meida where you dont fit in as SIKH and sometimes its also not true.

    I am trying to find a balance everytime when I comment related to topics of Hindus(Some of them are understanding and are friends while others are not)

    I respect your views but I am firm on my questions too because I am not at your level.

    My my opinion Sikhs, Muslims & Hindu groups deserve criticism at times ;)

    I feel I confused you yesterday about Sikh greetings. I wanted to keep it simple as you were new to our way of lifestyle so initailly I told only about Satsriakal

    Satsriakal is a shorter way of greeting & Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru ji Ki Fateh is more precise & elaborate way of greeting and is preferably used amongst who are aware of Sikhism.

    Satsriakal is short & quick way of greeting. Anyway other people have given the details of both of these greetings & it you choice which one you like when you meet a Sikh (male or female)

    Ranjitsingh ruled Punjab for forty years. Whole of India, the Rajputs, Rohilas, Gorkhas, Marathas and Mughals all of them, one by one, surrendered to the British. But still Punjab remained independent till 28th March 1849. Ranjitsingh died on 27th June 1839, but the Sikhs kept on fighting against the British. The discredit of pushing Punjab into slavery falls on three Dogra brothers - Gulab Singh, Dhyansing and Suchetsingh. "With the greedy intention of establishing a Hindu Raj", these Dogra brothers - and specially Dhyansing killed Chetsingh Bajawa, who was running the administration for son of Ranjitsingh. Then they killed Naunihalsingh the son of Khadagsingh. They allowed Chandra Kaur, the widow of Khadagsingh to rule for a month and a half only, and then killed her. Afterwards they also killed Shersingh, the second son of Maharaja Ranjitsingh, and his son Pratapsingh. Dogras also killed Ajitsingh Sandhavaliya, a close relative of Chandrakaur. While the Sikhs were keeping up the fight with British and sacrificing their lives to save their homeland, for two months from 18th December 1845 to 10th February 1846, the Dogras were bargaining with the British. Ultimately Gulabsing Dogra, not only surrendered himself but made Deelipsingh, the last heir of Ranjitsingh to surrender on 29th March 1849. As a reward of this, the British sold him the province of Jammu and Kashmir for 2,50,000 pounds sterling, and returned the treasury of Suchetsingh. Thus the Punjab got slavery and the Dogras got the province of Jammu and Kashmir. [bali: 1988: 248]

    Gulabsingh's son Ranveersingh succeded him in 1857, he anexed Gilgit province to Kashmir in 1885. His son Pratapsingh died in 1925 A.D. and Harisingh came on throne, who ruled till accession to Indian Union after the British left.

    I also heard that they dumped a huge gold and stuff of maharaj ranjit singh under Hari Palace in Jammu. They killed each sikh soldier who worked to put gold into the tehkhane there under Hari Palace.

    A Hindu is one who knows his Hond or the tribal identity. Chaudhry Ranjit Sandhu, Maharajah of the Punjab was a Jatt and it was a Jatt rule. He had 40 years of rule from Sachae Patshah Gobind Singh Ji as a reward of the services rendered by 40 Muktae who were mostly Jatts.

    Chaudhry Ranjit Sandhu displayed his Jatt character during the rule and put gold on top of Harmandir Sahib occupied by the crook Minae Sodhi Khatris, the Khatris who banged the Door of Harmandir Sahib on the Very Face of last on Earth Christ in the name of the Sixth Satguru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

    What gold has to do with God? Remember that this Harmandir was the Jerusalem Temple that was destroyed for ever in 70 A.D. and the Amrit Srovar was Bethasda Pool of Mercy outside the Temple. Christ or Satguru is the Source of Mercy.

    Minae Sodhi Khatris of whom the Sikhs were warned by Sachae Patshah Gobind Singh Ji to be never trusted, this world renowned Jatt stupid King not only trusted them but became their humble servant not knowing that the Khatris are the Emperors and Kings of Darkness or the most hypocrite people on the surface of the earth. Kashmiri Khatris became Mullahs and committed atrocities that Satguru Tegh Bahadur Ji had to give his sacrifice to those Mullah Khatris sitting in the court of Aurangzeb. Today, these satanic Khatris are turning Jatts into fanatics not knowing that they, the Jatts, are going to put noses around their necks soon.

    Wake up and be a Sikh of spirit, Nadi Roop, and not a Sikh of beard and turban, Nakli Sikhs.

    and ok, im sorry,but best to say fateh isnt it.....

    <_< If we do parth then only we get motivation to shak amrit. He suggests your atma & my atma here to read limited parth in the begining and focus more on meaning INNIT (they say this in UK)
