I am currently researching the 'history and development of the Gurmukhi script' for my dissertation, which will be submitted in partial fulfillment for my postgraduate degree, and I was wondering if I could as a few questions ...
- What digital fonts do you currently use (most often)?
- How long have you used these for?
- Is there a particular preference for these over others?
- Do they supply enough characters, or are there others you would like to see/be able to utilise?
- Is there anything in particular that you dislike about Gurmukhi fonts:
- when using them: eg. technical issues?
- the design of them: eg. incorrect character representation?
- What software do you use to create documents?
- What keyboard layout is used: Windows / Mac?
- Where they purchased/downloaded/free etc?
- There are many styles for Latin, do you think there are enough for Gurmukhi fonts?
