    vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ke fateh

    was listning to giani takhur singh ji's katha and like always he said some amazing things lol

    well one of the things he was saying was

    like when you are at gurdwara and are listning to bani or kirtan

    you dont look at who is doing the bani or kirtan

    which ragi it is and how famus he is and watnot

    when you hear the bani you should see guru ji there

    like if you are hearing bani form sri guru nanak dev ji you should see sri guru nanak dev ji.

    Giani ji has had darshen with alot of bram gianis

    and once he was with one

    and the bram giani said, i cant see the grantji singh, all i can see is the third guru

    giani ji thought how can this be, so he went behind maraaj and the bani was sorath mahala 3.

    another example was when a bibi was at a gurdwara she was very chardi kala

    and she had guru jis darshen

    and guru ji was getting into the kirtan alot

    and the bibi asked maraaj

    the ragi drinks and dances all the time

    and then maraaj said

    you dont look at the ragi, granthi, and watnot

    no

    you listen to the bani

    and you see whos bani it is

    so if its the 5th guru jis bani all you should see is Dhan Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maraaj

    we shouldnt look at who is doing the kirtan

    or if it soounds nice or not

    or if the vaja is in tune

    or if the tabla player is good

    or the background of the person reciting the bani

    or how famus they are and watnot

    you should see guru ji there

    giani ji also said that when you go on computers and you go on chat things (msn) and talk to each other, or you go on the internet, instead of talking pointless stuff, y not do vichaar, or say what you have heard in this katha,

    so daas decide to post his katha here lol

  7. Adopting Orphans

    I promised myself that I would STRIVE to adopt at LEAST one orphan child....we all should...if not adoption then definately fostering.... I know it seems a lil easy to say, but think about it....You're bringing love, education even a home to a child...what could be wrong in it? Have you ever looked into an orphans eyes and seen that gaze they give you? If you had, you wouldn't think twice about it. :)

    i want to adopt a child when im older to

    im a bit young to do it now lol

    but yeh when im older

    children are just sooo amazing, i dont know y anyone would want to give their child up and put them in a orphanage

    i wouldnt get your hopes up!! I have heard that baba ji is not coming to this prog and its a ploy by the organisers of this prog to bring in more sangat! But i could be wrong!!!!

    Sant Ji Has Confirmed he is coming. We Dont listen to what other people tell us ji we listen to what sant ji says, and he said he is coming pyareo.

    Even if he wasn't coming, the program is still going to be a massive event and amazing.

    App its costing about £80,000 - seems a bit of a waste of sangats money for one day! wouldnt that money be better spent on camps for kids, other prachaar even helping the poor

    we are celebrating 300 years of our true living guru on the gurgadhi.

    and that is not wasting sangats money ji.

    if the sangat don't want to donate then don't, guru ji will always help his gursikhs in need.

    and the organises have arranged camps before and im sure they all give to charity.

    another question is, there is alot of requests for donations, anyone can understand that this program is going to be expensive, but as the sangat has been requested to donate, should we not also have a break down of where the money is being spent, that way people will be more willing to help than just saying on their website that it is costing alot of money

    if they can be clear with how much money has come in surely they can be clear in where the money is going?

    ok jio, as you wish, daas will ask and get back to you, they might add a bit on there website or let you know in some other way. But I don't see what the problem is ji. All the money is going towards the event. There are contact numbers on the site and on the poster that you can ring, you can also email them, so any information you what you can find out Ji.

    No offence but you sound like some person who dont think we should celebrate 300 years of our amazing guru.

    Our guru is the king of kings, the giver and taker of all, the highest of high, our guru is so amazing, that we can spend our whole lives praising him and still it wont be enough.

    So don't you think that we should celebrate our guru to the max, no matter how much it will cost.
