    I feel that it is 'vyarth' to argue about we argue about things like whether this ingredient has animal stuff in it or not ~ for a moment step out of being a strict vegitarian and look at things more practically. I am Amritdharee too and feel that someday when I have a family of my own I will try to eat food that is ONLY cooked at home. Now I am single, live by myself and find myself eating a lot at Taco or Subway. The truth is that there shud be 2 groups ~ one for those who eat outside and the other one is for those who are sarblohee. I belong to the first group > I know that the cheese in Subway contains rennin -- but then think about this: why on earth should you drink MILK in the first place. We shoud all try to become a part of the 2nd group. The solution to this thread is not in trying to explain to ppl what is contained in this chemical and what was the source of this ingredient. The answer is simple -> COOK YOURSELF AND EAT THAT ONLY!

    Think about it ~ go ask a cow for milk. She will ask you to bugger off. No cow on its own free will will allow itself to be milked. Humans are the ONLY species which drinks MILK of another species way after infancy. Is it not disgusting. why do we do that ? Food for thought.

    Dekhiyaa jayee tee -- all the food we eat outside and try to convince each other that its purely vegitarian is NOT so. In this country i.e. us there is a lot of promiscuity between different food types and it is impossible to control it. Back in India I know there are places where the restaurant itself is pure Jain (version of Hinduism) and so they DONT ALLOW any meat products/eggs to enter the premises.

    The guy on the extreme right is a Sikh cricketer ... Harbhajan Singh // he kept his kesh open :umm: and tied them up in a pony tail :D @

    He made a joke of himself and the Sikhs too ... he was apparently doing a promo for a cell phone or something ...

    Thank you sangat jeeo ... even I had doubts about the origin of the word 'WaaheGuroo' ^_^

    but this thread now has made facts clearer ...

    Does anyone know how to setup a real time streaming video using Macintosh ? :T: I need to do some research for work and was wondering how the sewadaars set up LIVE broadcast during Raensabahees. I have installed QuickTime Streaming Server and QuickTime Broadcaster on my local machine. The H/W part has been taken care of : Sony Mini DV Camcorder, FireWire Cable etc. I need to find out what kind of software is required by my hosting company. Thank grin.gif

    I feel that the SGPC is a group controlled by ppl who r simply poloitically inclined // they cud not get into the National Political scenario for obvious reasons and are now runnning some cult ! If meat eating (JHATKA) is allowed then answer this question mr. calcutta //

    "why is meat NOT server at the Darbar Sahib , or for that reason at any Gurudwaara" ...

    Guru Sahib and the Guru Granth Sahib jee have asked us to eat food only to sustain ourselves .. those who fall prey to the taste of meat will be punished in His darbaar !

    I hope such ppl , refrain from using the Gurudwaara Sahib as a platform for preaching falsehood.
