  1. PS. they sell stuff really cheap because the G.O.I does not charge them tax, so a Rs.30 bottle fo Frooti at the dera would be about Rs. 7. What does this tell you? The Guru ghars have to pay tax but these places made to destroy Sikhi do not. I mean can the G.O.I make it any more obvious that these people are out to destroy Sikhi.

    Fateh.

NO Matter wat anyone or everyone tries to do. The SIKH panth will not perish, We are the Daughters and Sons of Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji Maharaj. We the Khalsa are the army of Akal Purakh. ^_^^_^^_^^_^mellow.gif

Apparently what i heard was that bak in time The first radhaswami guru(as he claimed to be) did kirtan but used to smoke so the sikhs asked him either to quit smoking or they wouldnt let him do the kirtan so he got <Edited> off so started doin his own samagam, some stupid people started following him and hence he came there Guru.

He had 3 henchmen, after his death dispute arose between those three as who would become the next radhaswami guru. all 3 declared themself the guru and went into different directions. The one from beas(a place near amritsar) became very popular

    The word radhaswami means

Radha = Name of the first radhaswami's wife + Swami = husband

Radha's Swami as in Radha's husband

P.S. I have heard this from some one not sure of its accuracy and I do not believe in RadhaSwamis at all. Its sad to see that so many sikhs are following this fake guru.

Apparently Radhaswami guru has a favourite car, a Nissan. How can a guru has a favourite car i thought they werent suppose to be into worldly things.

    The Gurbani Says:

suir nr muin jn AMimRqu Kojdy su AMimRqu gur qy pwieAw

The angelic beings and the silent sages search for the Ambrosial Nectar; this Amrit is obtained from the Guru

    The rehat says:

pRQm rihq Xih jwn KMfy kI pwhul Cky ] soeI isMG pRDwn Avr n pwhul jo ley

To drink the Ambrosial Nectar of the Khanda (Amrit) is the primary instruction for the Sikh. He who abandons all other initiations is truly a great Sikh.

Following the Guru is the only way out, to reach waheguru u have to follow the path laid by our gurus.

The rehatnama says not to show enimty towards other sikhs.

isMG isMG so nyh su krno vYr Bwv mn qy prhrno ]

He should always be loving towards other Sikhs. Enmity should be removed from the mind.

    also

jo isK soN ihq n krih so nrky pir jwhu

Those who do not show love to other Sikhs will be punished at death

I was in India recently, just outside a Gurdwara on a wall it was written

Sikh Sikh nu naa maare taa Sikh kaum kidha Haare

Guru Gobind Singh ji was proud of seeing the Khalsa in his own form. He was so much impressed by the image of Khalsa that he wrote in Khalsa Mahima: "inhi ki kripa ke saje ham hain(“It is due to their (Khalsa's) Grace that I have attained this glorious position.Otherwise there are millions of mortals like me")

Yet we don't realize how expensive this religion is because we have received it for free.

Found this on Sikhnet- written by Inni Kaur Ji ( http://www.sikhnet.com/s/IRemember )

    I Remember....

    They say do not write..

    They say do not speak..

    They say forget about it..

    If I agree — then

In my silence lies my guilt.

    As long there is breath

As long as there is strength

I will write; I will speak

    For I remember .......

    I Remember....

    The year is 1739

    Hindustan is in terror

    The cruelty of the Mughals

    Is felt everywhere.

    Nadir Shah is in Delhi

    Looting the treasures.

    Carting 2200 Hindu women

    For his private harem.

The news spreads like wild fire

    Across this great land

    Helplessness and confusion

    Reign supreme.

    Sardar Jassa Singh

    Commander of the Sikh army

    Hears of this atrocity

    Vows to take a stand.

    The Sikhs are a minority

The Mughals have the upper hand

    Despite this disparity

    A midnight attack is planned.

    The Mughal camp is asleep

    The Sikhs wait in silence

    At the stroke of midnight

    They begin the attack.

    Talwars are in the air

    The Mughals are caught off-guard

    The women are freed

    And safely brought back.

    In Hindu households

A sign of relief is heard

    As the women rush back

To the arms of their loved ones.

    There are Sikh casualties

    But there are no tears;

    To uphold a woman’s honor

    Is the Sikh d

    haram.

    From that day on

    A pattern emerged;

    The Sikhs struck at midnight

    To free the captured women.

    Every night, the women prayed

For the safety of the Sikhs

    Mothers told their daughters

    Trust only a Sikh.

    Hindu mothers with love

    Made their first-born sons Sikhs;

    A sacred trust existed

Between a Hindu and a Sikh.

    Through the centuries

    This trust and love continued

    Until the forces of evil

    Raised their ugly head.

    The year is 1984

    The unthinkable happened

    Our Hindu brothers

    Turned on us.

    Sikh women were raped

    Their fathers, husbands

    Sons and brothers

    Butchered in-front of their eyes.

    The country is in shell-shock

    At the brutality of this massacre;

    Yet no voice rose

    To speak against this massacre.

    I ask my Hindu sisters

    Where were you?

    Did your hearts not bleed?

At the rape of your sisters.

    Twenty years have gone by

But the pain has not diminished

    There are no answers

    To what happened in 1984.

    To my Hindu sisters

    I have one request.

Tell your sons, husbands and brothers

    The sacrifices of the Sikhs.

    To my Sikh veer

    I need not remind you

You are bound by your Guru

    To protect the weak.

    No Sikh hand will rise

    Against any women;

Be she a Hindu or a Muslim

She has the protection of a Sikh.

    My Ardaas:

    Let the winds be gentle

Let there be peace on this land

    Let this shattered trust

Be given a chance to grow.

But ask me not to forget

    For I remember....

I read this sakhi about Guru Nanak Dev ji and how he answers the pandit about the creation of the world. Hope it will answer your question.

The third time Guru Nanak Dev Ji left home on his famous Udasis (journeys) in 1516 he trekked towards the north. He was accompanied by his long time companion Mardana Ji. Guru Nanak Ji's first halt was at Srinagar. At Srinagar, Guru Nanak Ji met a Muslim dervish known as Kamal, and a Hindu pundit called Braham Das. It is said that Braham Das was a very arrogant man. Wherever he went, he was followed by three camels carrying the ancient works he had studied. He was fond of entering into lengthy arguments with the holy men he encountered. When he met Guru Nanak Ji, in the first instance, he objected to his dress. Guru Nanak Dev ji happened to be wearing leather shoes and a fur robe for protection against the Kashmir cold. The Guru ignored it. Braham Das then started displaying his learning and asked Guru Nanak Ji about the creation of the world. Guru Nanak Dev ji's reply was most revealing:

    For countless ages there was utter darkness;

No earth, no sky, only God's will.

No day, no night, neither the Moon nor the Sun.

He sat in trance in the void.

There was no eating, no speaking.

There was no water, no air,

    No creation, no destruction,

    No coming, no going,

There were no planets, no underworld,

    None of the seven seas

    With rivers flowing into them.

There were no planes: higher, middle or lower,

Neither hell nor heaven, nor any

    hour of death,

    No suffering, no bliss,

    No birth, no death,

    No entry, no exit.

There was no Brahma, no Vishnu, no Shiva.

With His order, the world was created.

It is maintained without any support.

He created Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.

He created also the love of Maya.

Only a few are blessed with His Word.

He watches and rules over all.

He brought about the planets, the hemisphere

    And the underworld.

    And became Himself manifest.

It is the True Guru alone who imparts this

    Understanding.

Says Nanak those who are truthful live in

    Eternal bliss.

They are blessed with recitation of God's Name.

    MARU (1035)

Hearing this, Pandit Braham Das was stunned. He was amazed at Guru Nanak Dev Ji's vision. He became Guru Ji's disciple and decided to propagate the Word of God.

    Rsingh ji

    couple of quick thoughts:

=> This is the time when my Khalsa will spread into the four corners of the world...

Think about this, it's only during the past 30-40 years or so that Sikhs have really now spread worldwide.

=>...and the sovereignty of Delhi will the first prize which will fall into their laps

For the very first time, the 'ruler' of India is now a Sikh. The position of Prime Minister of India also "fell into his lap" as he was not deliberately aiming for the job.

  9. I have heard if you unroot that stuff u kill it.

    another reason is

Back in time every thing use to grow above the ground. Hindu devtas use to eat too much of onions, garlic etc Therefore the stuff became arrogant that we(onions and garlic) are liked very much by devtas so we must be special and stopped growing above the ground. Due to this they devtas said a true hindu wouldnt eat them no more.

Another thing I heard is that this stuff is sinful, if u eat it makes u do sinful stuff
