    App is Crashing

    If you are experiencing some issues with iGurbani, specifically if the app is crashing then the best way to let the team know is to submit a crash report. This is done by syncing your device with iTunes and making sure you select "OK to send data to Apple". This way the team can get a copy of those reports and implement a fix as soon as possible.     iGurbani for iOS Devices - Gurbani Search Engine+

    With Guru Maharaj's Apaar Kirpa the Akal Design team is proud to announce iGurbani for iOS devices.

    This app requires no internet connection and contains all of the Sikh Scriptures.

    The focus of this app is to allow the user to accurately read the shabads from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji following a revolutionary style of showing the vishraams. Instead of commas and other punctuation the vishraams are highlighed in a specific color.

    PLEASE NOTE: Since the Gurmukhi is from a new source and the database has been rebuilt from the ground up there are some errors that we could not catch during development. We are going to rely on the Sangat to help us identify and correct those errors.

    Our apologies to any GURSIKHS who try to use the Live SANTHEYA Broadcast today. Due to technical problems, the Online POTHI SAHIB JI was visible and moving but no sound was travelling through. We will be trying to get this fixed MAHARAJ JI DI KIRPA as soon as possible. SATGURU JI DI KIRPA, the broadcast should be working tonight so anyone who missed SANTHEYA this morning can do their SANTHEYA this evening. Once again our apologies.

    LIVE BROADCAST SANTHEYA

    SATGURU MAHARAJ JI IN HIS KIRPA IS GETTING SEVA OF LIVE ONLINE SANTHEYA DONE BY THE CALGARY SANGAT.

    Baba Darshan Singh Ji Damdami Taksal Malle Vaal is doing the seva of Santheya with MAHARAJ JI DI KIRPA.

    The Santheya link is on www.calgarykeertan.com. On the home page there are two links to live broadcasts. ***PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CLICK THE LINK THAT SAYS: CLICK HERE FOR LIVE GURBANI SANTHEYA. OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE DIRECTED TO THE LIVE BROADCAST COMING FROM THE MAIN DARBAR OF DASHMESH CULTURE CENTER!!!!!

    The Santheya will be broadcast live so it will only be viewable when it it is actually happening. The Santheya that is being broadcast happens twice a day from Monday to Thursday.

    The morning time is 9:15 am to 10:45 am MOUNTAIN TIME.

    The evening time is 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm MOUTAIN TIME.

    ***PLEASE NOTE AS THIS IS LIVE SANTHEYA AND HAPPEING IN MOUNTAIN TIME YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LISTEN ADN VIEW AT THE STATED TIME. PLEASE CONVERT TO YOUR TIME ZONE SO YOU KNOW WHEN IT HAPPENS. FOR EXAMPLE A PERSON VIEWING EVENING SANTHEYA FROM VANCOUVER WOULD GO ON AT 5:15 PM!!!!!

    The live broadcast may not start right away because the vidyaarathees (students) are setting up the SANCHEEAA and POTHIS. So even if live isn't up right away please still get on the link 5 minutes before the stated time so that you don't miss out as well don't turn off your live even if it is not on right away. Due to technical or other difficulties/set up time there may be delays.

    On the onscreen POTHIS there will be colour coding to help out online vidyaarathees. The coding is as follows.

    BLUE/BLACK: separate words for vidyaarathees. (the original was in LAREEDAR but has been broken up into PAD-CHED).

    GREEN: JAMAKS (comma{ , }) slight pause

    ORANGE: VISHRAAM (semi-colon{ ; }) half-pause

    ||: POORAN VISHRAM (full stop) detonates end of PANKTHI (sentence)
