Is Baba Tarlok Singh definitely down for next week? He is tight Baba Joginder Singh, what does that mean? Do you mean that Baba Tarlok Singh has close relations with the whole of the khalsa panth.

What Dal is this singh? A new dal, that has just opened? When is the first amrit sanchaar likely to be? Also once taken amrit, would you be part of this UK dal, or the Khyala Vale dal?

  3. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh

Thank you for all your beautiful seva pjs. I can't tell you how much the sangat appreciates it.

May Guru Sahib continue to bless you with more.

    Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh

Maharaj has always told us to respect gurbani, if we dont by mistake we are guna fall in the pits of narak as we should know. How can someone so bloody ignorant and put gurbani in a bloody scanning machine!!

  4. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh

Punishment now is a thing of the past, in the times of a Guru Gobind Singh a singh may mispronounce a word of gurbani he would get a slap, why – for not showing satkaar to gurus bani, upmost satkaar of gurbani can only be done through practice of santhiya. This principle needs to be reainstated, when beadbi is happening those in aid of it need to be slapped!

This post is a mere attempt to help those who consider the gurus bana as a uniform, as a lifeline to those to realise sikhi is alot that what certain people think it is, a steer in the direction of truth!! Please do not consider this as an attack on any jathabandi, but more as someone trying to help .

The Gurus bana, the bana of the Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa has lost its status from what once was something that had to be earned through living an austere life, a life dedicated to relentless seva, a life dedicated to the word of the Guru, where now it holds the respect of something equal to that of a fancy dress costume.

This image the image of the true loveable army the Akali Nihang Singh khalsa has been severly tarnished to a point of no return. It is the young, un-educated, egotistical, and incredibly stupid life forms that have polluted the Bir Ras spirit and image of the Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa.

Not to point fingers, but those people who hold the above criteria are associated to those of the akhand kirtani jatha. Many people where the bana, the dumalla, shastar, chand, etc, with complete ignorance not understanding any of its relevance, its significance or origins! The akj egocentrics wear the bana although they will not see it, but it is for purely for the image = hankar!!! It is to attract people to say 'look at me'.

The bana is for nihang singhs, and nihang singhs only. Just as, the Damdami Taksal, the nirmalay, they have there own dress/chola, so do the Nihang Singh Khalsa. If you are not a Nihang singh, dont wear what doesnt belong to you. A simple example, a police office would wear a police uniform, why because he is a police officer. It would be rather stupid for someone who is not a police officer to wear the outfit wouldnt it?? So why do those individuals who are not Nihang Singhs, wear the bana of the Nihangs. However those akj, may argue and are adament in saying it is the bana of Guru Gobind Singh, and there are 100% correct. But what they fail to realise is Guru Gobind Singh was an Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa! The bana was given by Akali Nihang Guru Gobind, was a that most fierceless Nihang Singh ever, he was the khalsa, khalsa=Nihang!! He was the Akaal Purakh!! This is not a difficult concept to understand. Don’t take my word for this, but ask any mahapursh, brahm giani, experienced katha vachaks, that Akali Nihang Guru Gobind Singhs gets niraj if someone wears the bana without having earned it!

If you want to adapt the bana, the image, because it is a totally awesome image. Please make the effort to earn it, go the dal, live with the nihangs, adapt the Nihang Singh maryada, be true to puratan sikhi!!! These modern people who wear bana and do not understand what is covers, in most cases have not even taken amrit, do not even know there bani!! Dont wear it if you are not coming as a package!!

Many of these wannabe nihangs(undercover akjs) even insult the puritan Nihang Singh maryada. If one wanted to learn about the maryada of chatka, i would ask a Nihang Singh as i know it is there maryada. But if one is an akj disguised as a Nihang Singh how would he know such accepted element of sikh history, except what he does is insult what according to his image is his maryada. Shooting yourself in the foot. Would a Taksal Singh say dont do santheya, would an akj say don’t do exhausting saas giraas naam simran, no just as a Nihang Singh wouldn’t insult his own maryada, but these akjs who dress like nihangs do!!

In the time of Akali Nihang Guru Gobind Singh, there were the Akali Nihang Singhs, the Damdami Taksal, the Nirmala and the sevapanthis! Nothing else, everything else was manmade, manmat!! The akj were created in the 1930’s and are no different from the nirankaris, the radha soamis. Those jathas also respect Aad Guru Granth Sahib Ji, but not fully. Just as the akj!!

Please understand, what the Gurus created for us was a priceless jewel and something that has not been realised, if we divert from this in any way or form how can we expect to get the kirpa from our guru!! It is like the guru telling us not to cut our hair, but we still do. Just as how he has given us a path of truth, but we choose to follow our own path. These moden manmade jathay that have only started less than 100yrs ago are not the way the guru prescribed. Akali Guru Arjan Dev Ji, dedicated his life to the teaching of classical music, he wrote raags in which we could sing his beautiful sabads in, as his sikhs are we not to follow in his footsteps. Instead the akj have made a futile attempt at recreating what the Almighty Guru made for us.

Please do not consider this a post to bash, slander or judge any jatha or group but to help people realise that Sikhi is so much more. Please read the below sites which also discuss anti Sikh practices. The readers may consider the authors to be biased, that is because there are, as they too feel disrespect has been shown and something has to be said.

I will leave with the words of Akali Nihang Guru Gobind Singh:

Jhuta kehe, jhuta hm kai hai, jo sabh logh manai kurrai hai

hm kahu ke kaan na rakai, sat bachan mukh oopar bhakai

What is false i will call false, even though people try to silence me

I do not care what people think, i will speak the truth from my mouth

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh

  5. does anybody know why at hazur sahib they say Ardas differently...among the granthis at hazur sahib they say it the same but......just watch the video

Because it is puratan, not changed from the time Guru Gobind Singh left, not like these manmade jathas. The hajoor sahib maryada is the same as the nihang singh maryada, hence the singhs at hajoor sahib are also nihangs!!

  6. Taken from Se Kinehiya:

CORRECT TIME FOR THE PRAYER CALLED CHANDI

    DI VAAR

Baba Ji used to recite the prayer called Chandi di Vaar daily, as part of his Nitnem. This is a prayer composed by the tenth Guru, describing a battle between demons and the Goddess called Chandi. It is usually recited by Sikhs during war. Many a time, a question would arise in his mind as to, how many times and at what time one should recite the prayer of Chandi di Vaar? Baba Ji asked many Saints and sadhus regarding this question, but could not get a satisfactory answer.

One evening, at his room in the fields, after reciting the evening prayer of Rehras, Baba Ji went on to recite the prayer of Chandi di Vaar. After completing this prayer, he prepared to retire by saying his last prayer of Sohila. It was a moonlit night and the doors of the room in which he was sitting, were open. As he had just lain down, he noticed two men approaching at a short distance. Baba Ji thought to himself, that if these pedestrians were just travellers, he would offer them food and shelter for the night and if they were robbers, then he would challenge them in combat. No sooner had this thought entered his mind, than miraculously one of the Singh's came beside him and grabbed his feet. The other one seized Baba Ji's head and pinned him down onto the bed. Baba Ji used to tell us, ''I was unable to move from the bed. A thought entered my mind that these two, who have moved faster than the speed of light in order to grasp me are neither robbers nor travellers. These two must be Shaheed Singhs (the immortal souls of Sikh martyrs). I began to recite the Mool mantar. I had only uttered the Mool mantar twice when the Singh who held my head down, let go, followed by the second Singh who was holding my feet."

Baba Ji got up and the Shaheed Singh explained, ''We did not come here to fight with or seize you, but to answer your question, regarding the correct time to recite the prayer of Chandi di Vaar. As you thought about offering us a fight, we came and immediately seized you, as we did." The Shaheed Singh continued, ''If you start reciting the prayer of Chandi di Vaar after sunset then, one must keep reciting it

63continuously through the night until dawn. Two or more Singhs may take turns to recite this prayer through the night, it is all right to do so. One must sit upon a clean mat or bed, bathing before reciting the prayer. An oil lamp lit with clarified butter should be kept alight throughout the night. During the day, one can recite Chandi di Vaar as many times as one wants. There is no specific practice to reciting the prayer except that one reads the prayer with devotion and understanding." After explaining these instructions, the Singh's disappeared through the doors towards the direction they came from.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Yea Exactly. Baba Ji mentions nothing about a "glass of water" or anything along those lines. I am not questioning Baba Ji in any way I agree with what he says as he is a Brahmgyani. I am only questioning this thing about keeping a glass of water beside you whenever you recite Chandi Di Vaar. IMO it is superstition.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Thats fine, I am not questioning any brahm giani in anyway at all. bUt it is probably translated wrong. Puratan Taksal and Nihang Maryada is to read it before the sun rises. AMRITVELA. When i stayed in the dal, Baba Joginder Singh Budha Dal reads it amritvela at around 1am, as do many other mahapursh brahmgianis. Ask any taksal parcharak they will tell you the same, Giani Thakur Singh says whenever you read dasam bani always have a glass of water beside you, what do you think you do with it, throw it at the moon, you drink it!!! Gives you shakti/power!! Do it and see. This is a forum to ask questions and learn, not to slander one another!!! No Baba Ji doesnt mention anything about the water, but does mention the whole spectrum of sikhi from start to finish, no because the book would be massive!!! The maryada is never read it in the day!!! Nevertheless you should only read this bani once you have taken santhiya!! Dont take my work for it ask around before talking your sh1t!!

  7. Can you tell me what tym should we do Chandi di vaar. I think i have read in Sant Harnam Singh ji book that if u start Chandi di vaar after rehraas than it should continue all throughout the night.

But what about the day time. What tym can we do this?

to be honest you should only read this if you are tyar bar tyar singh, and not arrrm sangat. But.....never read in daytime always read amrtivela not when it is daylight, read as part of your nitnem, and have a glass of water near when you read it.

  8. cool. not something im familiar with . will b gr8 if u can xplain the process how its made . so i can make sense of the vid . like what are the ingredients, the different steps of making it, what goes in when. cooking is one of my gr8 hobbies so im curious nd it interests me. ill swap that 4 any recipe you want .deal???hahaa

    haha deal!

and btw, sukhnidaan is prashad. it contains non-refined cannabis leaves. like ive explained in previous topics, most medicines that you will take for a mild headache will actually intoxcate you more than 5, small, un-processed, un-refined leaves. these are natural leaves gven by the nature of the planet.

Thats interesting why is the word ( Bhang) aka Canibus used in the Buddha Dal Gutka when describing how to make "SukhNidan"

you are probably a young brainwashed person, who doesnt know more then what you are told to believe. Maharaj Guru Gobind Singh himself, made and drank shaheedi degh. Its not something that has just come out of the blue, and to say its just for lazy nihangs to get, firstly you get more of a buzz from drinking f4king coffee, and secondly singhs ragar for hours, i cant see that as being lazy. please research, and open ur mind, sikhi is much more than stupid rules. WAKE UP for god sake

  9. Yeah Bhai Sahib Dastar should be original width (not cut in half).

if u want to know if its true, practise this puratan tradition. The best way to learn is to stay with the nihang singh in the dal, not to ask someone over the internet. With the singhs you can see the maryada and live it.

    you shouldnt half ur dumalla,

you should always take ur dumalla off lar by lar, and cchand it before re-tying.

you should always sit crossed legged,

you should have your panj shastar in the bunga/keski,

you should have a hajooria cover ur legs as your dastaar/kesh shouldnt touch ur kachera,

you dont have to have 2 kangas, nihang singhs do as one may break,

you dont have to read dumalla da salok, thats more for farladharis, just do ur nitnem while tying ur dastaar/getting ready or whatever.

  10. Jassa u talk truth, if ppl dont want to believe it, thats there karam, considered yourself blessed that you possess power(knowledge=power). i understand it gets annoying for me too, when trying to explain puratan traditions, but modern mainstram ppl r deluded by the maryada created by the british.

if you are unsure if you can take amrit because your wife or partner isnt ready, you go and take it, its your karam, your destiny is your destiny. you came alone and you are going alone, inspire and influence your partner. but the choice is hers, dont have an akj forceful maryada, where you force some1 to take amrit, inspire them to take amrit. if they dont, thats there bad karam.

just a thought for those ppl who question puratan maryada, do you think when Guru Gobind singh created the khalsa in 1699, when he summoned every1 to be at anandpur sahib, he said to every1 'oh bring your wifes along', nobody knew what he was guna do, they didnt bring there wifes. it was estimated over 20,000 ppl took amrit, and no1 can ever say it was 10k men, and 10k women. men took it and became singhs, they went bak home to there wife and children, and when there wifes were ready, then received kirpan da amrit. women were women, they had children, and experienced things men dont.

  11. <banned word filter activated>!! How you can you be as you say a 'PROPER Nihang', have you even lived in the dal, go there and then you wont be so much of a <banned word filter activated>, who i need a nihangnee(whatever one of them is) to protect, banda ban ja!! you aint a nihang singh, your some one who like the bana, the roop, but dont follow the maryada. what do you do, that makes you a nihang, you take khande de pahul from akj? think b4 u type.

  12. why do you all argue, if those that want to be akj's and disregard puratan khalsa warrior traditions let them. Im sure those that dont, will continue to uphold asli puratan maryada. According to rattan singh bhangus panth prakash, the khalsa was created to standardise the warrior, eliminating caste, creed, etc. The rules of the khalsa were simple, 4 kurehata, but how they lived was determined by the activities going on at that period - battle, hiding, etc. They ate meat to survive, and made sukha as a antibiotic as well as a boost. The khalsa(nihangs) are a warrior sect of sikhi, we are lions, dont disregard the truth for something that is within fairy tales.

I guess this is the way it should be, back then all the shaheeds were all nihangs, and they were only a few of them, and theres only a handfull of dalpanth fauja now aswell.

Regardless of this forum, and peoples views everyone is still going to do what they want!!

  13. Lets be honest, none of you lot have ever been to a dal and lived with nihang singhs. Cz when you see the amount of gurbani and simran they do, singhs will be dropping at there feet. But im not guna go into the ins and outs of shaheedi degh and chatka, im just guna say, a poor Bakra got chatka'd last week, and it tastes absolutely sublime.
