    Mahatma Gandhi 'Racist And Bisexual' Claims New Book

    Great Soul, written by former New York Times executive editor Joseph Lelyveld, makes several new claims about the man who led India to independence.

    The book alleges that as an older man he held "nightly cuddles" – without clothes - with seventeen year-old girls in his entourage, including his own niece.

    It also suggests that he was in love with German-Jewish architect and bodybuilder, Hermann Kallenbach, for whom he left his wife in 1908.

    "Gandhi wrote to Kallenbach about 'how completely you have taken possession of my body. This is slavery with a vengeance'," the book said, going on to claim that Gandhi nicknamed himself "Upper House" and Kallenbach "Lower House."

    It goes on: "He made Lower House promise not to 'look lustfully upon any woman.' The two then pledged 'more love, and yet more love . . . such love as they hope the world has not yet seen.'"

    In another startling revelation, the book claims he held racist views against South African blacks.

    "We were marched off to a prison intended for Kaffirs," he is quoted as saying during a visit to the country. "We could understand not being classed with whites, but to be placed on the same level as the Natives seemed too much to put up with. Kaffirs are as a rule uncivilised."

    The Wall Street Journal review of the book said it recast Gandhi as "a sexual weirdo, a political incompetent, a fanatical faddist, implacably racist, and a ceaseless self-promoter, professing his love for mankind as a concept while actually despising people as individuals."

    This video is outside the Cricket Stadium in Mohali (Could be Ahmedabad), obviously India – This would never happen in any other country.

    At the back, you can hear the sheeps screaming in glory of India.

    This video is allegdly of Monday 28th March, but I think it's of 24th March, as that's when India was playing.

    Can someone please confirm?

    I have no idea either, i think as long as we live as GurSikhs and the example Sant Ji set on how a GurSikh lives according to Gurmat and truth it shouldn't matter.

    Too many controversies out there...

    True, but we need to be equipped with knowledge, hunna :)

    And then we can relate to: Oh, it doesn't matter when

    its Guru Gobind Singh Jee's Janam Diwas, we need to live

    like the Khalsa.

    In my last Panjab trip, I saw loads of Sant Jee stickers

    and that made me really happy.

    I wanted to know, how much is one sticker? :)

    I only got to see one design,i f possible, can you take a

    picture of the stickers and upload them, so we can have a look. :)

    I believe the Singh Brothers print them...

    It would be great if Gurbanianywhere or Sikhitothemax also had this option - i.e. katha uploaded by Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Jee Khalsa Bhindranvale for each sabad in Guru Granth Sahib Jee Maharaj. Singhs did do bentia a few years ago when the katha was initially released, but no one chased it up.

    Its great to see gursikhs taking up the seva of finding the katha to the daily hukamnama sahib and then putting it in video format, maybe sangat tv, sikh channel, sikh tv or other organisations could do the same. Hopefully the video quality will improve with time, but it is definately something that should be on TV, and there is no greater vidvaan in 20th century than vidya maartand sri maan sant giani gurbachan singh jee khalsa - its a fact - 27 katha of sri guru granth sahib jee.

    Dhan han the sevadaars and dhan is our satguru sahib jee who blessed the singhs with the seva.
