  1. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

This is a Benti, to all the Sikh Channel staff/managing directors,

Can you please stop broadcasting Miss Pooja's "Dharmik" Songs, and other Panjabi singers,

due to I feel WE are giving them publicity, and for example, if someone searchs for

Miss Pooja's Dharmik songs on YouTube or Google, they come up with her silly boycott songs

e.g. Desi Jatt... Instead of the Dharmik songs.

And when the channel was launched, I saw some mona (haircut-so-called Sikh), singing Dharmik geets, with a patka, atleast were a Dastaar.

    Bhul Chuk Maaf.

Firstly, I would like to say, there is no word to describe the Sikh Channels greatness!

It is the first channel to spread the TRUTH!

I wanted to ask, what time will the Jagowale Jatha, be on? Will it be live or not? Please PM me, when the Jagowale will be showing.

Lastly, on any other day, will there be anything to do with Fire in Gurdwara Bow 09? 1978 Massacre, 1984 anti-Sikh riots?

Please PM me, I have many material you may want to broadcast via Sikh Channel.

    Gurfateh,

    Khalistan Zindabad.

Haha, nice joke. Your title "Who Were Some Great Sikh Freedom Fighters", Udham Singh etc. was not a Sikh Freedom fighter, he was a Indian Freedom Fighter, there is a difference between Indian and Sikh... Is he was a Sikh Freedom fighter we would have Khalistan, not staying in Corrupted, Racist India.

  4. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,

I was reading this article about Panjab and India, it was saying that, before India and Pakistan's independence, Panjab was its own "area", with no reign, but people stayed there, and when the British Empire, came to take over India, they took over India AND Panjab, and when the British left, they handed Panjab over to India, to reign upon on.

So in conclusion, I wanted to say that Panjab could now today of been called Khalistan, if the Sikhs took action at the time, and now today, there would be no Bollywood Beadbi against Sikhs, No 1984 anti-Sikh riots, 1978 massacare, Operation Black Thunder, Operation Woodrose, where many INNOCENT Sikhs lost their lifes.

So Please Veero Peno, Wake Up! Lets stand together and get our rights! Our rights to be a FREE Nation.

    Bhul Chuk Maaf.

  5. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,

Just to say that the Sikh Channel is great, and is broadcasting on Sky Channel 840.

It has a "soft" launch, so therefore they will not have any live discussion programmes, due to no presenters.

    Fateh.

I have been seeing these view weeks, that on Sikh Sangat, please come with complaints! Like a racist attack, beadbi in Gurdwaras, etc. Why should we Singhs allow this to happen! If theres beadbi at a Gurdwara, stand up at that time, not post it on Sikh Sangat!, for a change I want to see good things on Sikh Sangat! not like beadbi, racism, so stand up for yourselfs Singho! Singhiaan Jaag Be Oh Jago Aiah!

  7. A Sikh reporter threw a shoe at the Indian home minister during a news conference after he was angered over the minister's reply to a question.

Palaniappan Chidambaram was speaking in Delhi about 1984 riots in which hundreds of Sikhs were killed.

The minister leaned back to avoid the hurled shoe which narrowly missed him.

Witnesses say the minister appeared unfazed by the attack which was similar to a shoe-throwing attack on former US President Bush in Iraq in December.

    'Issue is right'

"Please take him away, gently, gently, gently, doesn't matter, please settle down, please settle down," a smiling Mr Chidambaram said as commotion broke out at the press conference.

Correspondents say that the minister is the latest in a prominent line of world leaders who have been subjected to a shoe attack - considered an insult in India.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has also suffered the indignity. Mr Chidambaram moved out of the way as the trainer whistled past his head.

The reporter was identified by local television channels as Jarnail Singh, a veteran correspondent with one of India's largest newspapers, the Hindi daily Dainik Jagran.

He was taken away by plainclothes police who tried to stop him from speaking to other journalists. It is not clear whether he has been formally arrested.

Soon afterwards, Mr Singh told TV news reporters that he regretted throwing the shoe but he felt that Mr Chidambaram was dodging the question.

"I just wanted to ask him how justice will be done, but he was not interested in answering the questions," he told CNN-IBN during a telephone interview from police custody.

"I don't think it was the right way, what I have done, but the issue is right."

Witnesses say that the reporter took off a trainer and threw it after the minister began answering a question about a government investigation into two leaders from the minister's Congress party accused of leading rioters against Sikhs in 1984.

The disturbances in Delhi were among the most violent in recent Indian history and happened after Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated by her Sikh bodyguards. Most of those killed were Sikhs.

Mr Chidambaram had called the press briefing to launch a Congress party report on countering terrorism ahead of a general elections that begin on 16 April.

The Iraqi journalist who threw a shoe at Mr Bush won worldwide fame but was jailed for three years earlier this month.

  10. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Sri Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

Lately, everyone is bigging up their caste... You search Google for "Khanda", it comes up with Putt Jattan De...

And Putt Tharkan De... All that...

One day, a boy asked me what was your Jhatt (caste), I said, Singh... He said, thats your surename... I said again "My Surename/Caste is Singh", He starts going on saying, You must be a h*rami (b*sterd), to not know your caste, I'm still their saying "My surename/caste is Singh"...

Another case, people in my class, say to me, whats your surename, I tell them Singh, they said, after that... I'm like Singh...

Everyone in my class, uses their surename, its alright if a Sehajdhari uses their caste, but, the shameful thing is that the Singh uses his false-caste-surename...

    Fateh,

Please tell me what I can do. :vaheguru:
