The idea of " Install DASAM Granth" what does that mean?

The Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji since Guru Gobind Singh penned the immaculate and Knowlegeable bani has been at the fore front of Sikh philosophy since that time.

All 18th century sources mention the Incredible bani that Tenth Master ordained in in all spheres of Sikh thought including language, manuscripts, shastars, Gurudwaras and the list continues.

For those whose brain cells are limited to the internet need to do real KHOJ;

1) Look at the original Dasam Granth Manuscripts in the handwriting of the Tenth Master.

2) Look at over 100 sources in the 18th century all pointing to the Great Guru Penning this bani.

These forums are for learning and so for those individulas who have never read any books it is about time.

99% sikhs don't even believe in SGGS, just bow before the holy book bcoz if they have believed it then things would have been different what to talk of Dasam Granth

Why don't u all guys go to gurudwara's in ur vicinity and install pictures and other idols of guru's so that u and ur future generation worship them and leave the truth behind as it happened with hindu veda's which were dumped and idols of ram, krishna and many others came up in temple's who r only characters of magnificient stories(kaalpanic). It is going to happen with sikhs also first of all we will install DASAM Granth then dump the SGGS, will simultaneously come up with idols.

Then ur future generations will say our SGGS has everything in it but we don't know much about that holy book as hindu's say about veda's.

Moreover sikhi is way of life but we also came up with same culture where we have pujaris who can only do paath bcoz we guys don't have time and they r paid for it.Is it the culture gurujee ever thought off i don't think so.

Like RAMAYAN and MAHABHARATA DASAM granth is just kavya rachna whose authenticiy is also not known but for all hindu's and hindu minded sikhs it is written by Guru Gobind Singh jee.

First of all, I don't know why we Sikhs have such double standards. When a person from a non-Sikh community makes a film about the Sikh community we quickly jump to minor objections and create a huge kafuffle and stir up controversy. However, we do nothing when Bhangra artistes produce lewd and vulgar music videos. Ive never heard about a protest against Jassi Sidhu, Lehmbar Hussainpuri, Diljit, and all those other singers who call themselves Sikhs yet produce nothing but garbage and call it "maa boli di seva".

I think we first need to clear the clutter in our home and only then will we be in a better position to successfully carry out a protest. As they say in Panjabi "pehla apne manji thalle sota pher lavo".

I don't know when people will leave these virtual sikhs and get out of the karamkands.

Theres alot of politics going on. Indian Congress terrorist party support dera chief wheras akali dal is against such dera cult's which try to blur the lines between hinduism and sikhism.

The dera issue is less about religion and more about regional politics and destorying or eroding away of political aspirations of the Sikhs to rule in their own region. Haryana and himachel pardesh is also punjab but due to events in 1960's the govt created split it into 3 for punjabi hindu's who wanted their language as hindi rather than punjabi. So the dera's are trying to slowly get a foothold into punjab so they can change the demographics of the Sikh majority state.

It is not their fault it is the fault of our leaders who havent sent out missionaries to convey the message to ignorant sikh's and punjabi hindu's that worshipping cult leaders in dera's etc doesnt serve anyone but the cults political leaders and their luxarious lifestyles. Violent reactionism is not the solution its just helping those who have vested interests to see that that region in a mess.

It seems ur not aware of Akali Dal who is spreading Dera culture, as now one of them has gone against them everything is happening. There are so many deras with patronage of so called Akali Dal diluting sikh values but no body is concerned about them as they serve Akali Dal.As it happened before in 80's sikhs are misguided to fight the so called Dera Sacha Sauda when there are so many evils present in sikh society itself.

First clean up ur house then start clean the surroundings otherwise u might end up with more dirt in ur house.

U r the first one who i think really want to fight in right sense. REason for all this happening is bcoz of absense of able leaders.I just want to ask one Question Why sikhs want to fight with dera sacha sauda only when there are so many other dera's doing same kind of harm to sikhi.

Most of th dera's in punjab r pushing sikhs to idol worship or worshiping dera chief still they r very much part of sikh brotherhood.

In this way dilution of sikh values and traditions is going in every town and village where sikhs reside.

Our generation should come forward so that spirit of khalsa should remain alive in actions also.

Hats off to Rabbi Shergill for coming out with such a nice album.He has shown courage to speak truth and still keeping commercial aspect of album alive.Song Pagri Sambhal Jatta is for all of us as we are turning out to be virtual sikhs, by virtual i mean we look like sikhs but sikh values are not intact or can say sikhi spirit is missing.

Dear friends ,I would like to share my views why next generation Sikhs are drifting away from religion.

Upcoming of dera’s in Punjab

Today`s youth thinks if he can get everything from these professional guru’s then there is no need to follow true god. He/she may be changing these guru’s as he changes the clothes, when the guru fails to deliver the goods as aspired by him/her. This can be supported by the fact that the number of these professional guru’s is increasing everyday.

Following of brahmanical rituals

In gurudwaras and in our daily life we have started following many hindu rituals which were once discarded by our guru’s, so today most of the Sikhs are turning to be hindus than Sikhs. Casteism being the major one. Now gurudwara’s are being built in name of the caste. In gurudwara’s granthi’s have become modern days pujari (as in the hindu temples).

Moral degradation among the Sikhs

Sikhs are becoming more and more indulged in money matters, corruption, killing of female foeticide, so called amritdhari’s are also part of it. What a shame. U can take the case of bibi Jagir kaur who herself killed her daughter because she wants to marry a boy of other caste.

Absence of mass movement to contact young Sikhs

Guru Nanak traveled to the people to impart his teachings but today we use only loudspeakers to do this. Young one’s are not allowed to participate in or there is nothing for them in gurudwara except seva.

Absence of any able Sikh leader

One should not confuse hisself or herself that a Punjabi leader is also leader of Sikh panth. These are the real traitor

’s of Sikhism as they are like termite, which can convert any wooden item to sand. So please beware of these Sikh leaders.

Non existence of any platform to discuss issues pertaining to Sikhs

Akal takht today is not serving any of the issue as the jathedars get the jathedaris just to serve any major political party, which is not even following Sikh principles. So we need an open platform where our issues can be debated.

Showing Sikhs in bad sense by the media

Most of the times Sikhs are shown as drunkard , fool and remarks are passed on dress

So I think anybody who lives in society will not be able to continue as Sikh if these drawbacks are not warded off.
