  1. Immeadeatly remove all of your files from the server, get and make all backups you can and find a new host.

There are several reputable hosts I can recomend based on your needs.

What kind of site is it, what kind of scripts to you run (if any), how much traffic do you get and anticipate and what is your budget?

  2. Why do you suspect it was the whole server which got compromised and not just you?

Do you have access logs available to you?

What has the current host said (have you tried to contact them)?

If your current host is unresponsive you need to move to a new host, after doing a full security review of your own files.

Finally got around to testing lite version on linux (Debian 5.0)

Installed fine, no errors using SGDVlite_unix.sh However it cannot pull up any results or display any bani. Shows connected to database, but gives a modal error "an error occurred while fetching results"

A full dump is here: http://sikhnerd.com/junk/sgdvoutput.txt

The relevant bit seems to be

    EDT violation detected
    javax.swing.JProgressBar[,165,4,300x18,invalid,alignmentX=0.0,alignmentY=0.0,border=javax.swing.border.EmptyBorder@1f31652,flags=8,maximumSize=,minimumSize=,preferredSize=,orientation=HORIZONTAL,paintBorder=true,paintString=true,progressString=Search Completed,indeterminateString=true]

Hope this helps. I can probably run this in a debugger if needed.

  5. Several ways:

For Windows XP and below use the ActiveSync program.

    1. Connect your device to ActiveSync
    2. Click on the "Tools" option
    3. Click Add/Remove Programs
At this point you'll see a screen that lists all of your devices programs, each program will have a checkbox to the left of the programs name and all of your programs will have a checkmark located next to their names.
    4. Take out the checkmark in each program box you'd like to uninstall.
    5. Click "OK"

If you're a Windows Vista use Windows Mobile Device Center

    1. Connect your device via USB to your desktop to launch the application.
    2. Click on the "Programs And Services" option
    3. Click the "More" option
You will now see a program box similar to the one found with ActiveSync 4.5.
    4. Each program will have a box with a checkmark, find the programs you'd like to uninstall and uncheck that box.
    5. Click "OK"

You don't have to use a computer to delete programs from your device, if you're on the go uninstalling apps directly from your system once again involves only a few quick steps.

    1. Go to your "Start" button
    2. Go to "Settings"
    3. You'll see a "System" tab, click on that tab.
    4. Then go to "Remove Programs"
    5. Choose the Application you want to remove and highlight it.
    6. Click "Remove"
Your device will now remove the highlighted application.

    Use the computer option first.

I'm going to copy GA's post as my skillset is similar minus all the MS stuff, and I am equally willing:

Willing to help with any sikhi, panthic and non-profit related projects, My skill set is listed below.

    LANGUAGES:

    ----------

    Ansi C

    Java

    Objective C

    Perl

    PHP

    Python

    Javascript

    Shell Scripting

    DATABASE:

    -----------

    MySql

    OTHER:

    -----------

    Cryptology & Encryption

Many many Open source CMs (Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, etc.)

I am big in open source, so there are several places where I can provide expertise

    OS:

    -----------

    Windows Server

    Linux

    Unix

    MAC

    WEB SERVER:

    -----------

    Apache

    IIS

    Tomcat

    lighttpd

    Nginx

While I am familier and knowledgeable on all the above, I try to avoid doing any actual development work as much as possible. I am more administrator type, into systems/network admin. I am very much into community buliding and managing Open Source (and some closed source) projects.

As far as some collaboration system, there are several GOOD open source options to choose from, depending on the type of people involved (is it mostly developers?), the goal (development, project management, CRM, product development, idea creation/formation, etc.), and budget (mine is usually $0.00 so...)

I don't know about several hours per week, but if the project is done properly I'm sure I can make major contributions in the right areas.
