    Amarjeet Singh Uppal lost his sight but with Maharaaj's kirpa his sight is getting better. Bhai sahib helped to close the sikh centre because of this he was attacked and acid thrown in eyes. Before the attack bhai sahib had been threatened a number of times by ex commitee members.

    the gurdwara sahib now has ex commitee members joginder patara and nirmal sangha, two amritdhari singhs helping to get a petition signed for the reopening of the centre. these men are also threatening sangat by calling on non amritdhari's.

    The talk itself will be delivered by the highly respected honourable Lord Viscount Slim (OBE) . It will highlight the the illustrious bravery of 21 Sikhs who took on an army of almost 10,000 at Saragahri and depict the comradery and martial traits of the Sikh soldiers that laid down their lives for the British Army.
