  1. The BNP are a broken force. They have major internal issues and dont seem to have recovered from what happened to them in the last general election.

As for the EDL, look at what happened during the riots. Whilst Sikhs came out in force to protect religous, commercial and private property, the EDL were sitting at home munching on their Tesco Value Curries or racing around in white vans doing their Christmas shopping.

Sikhs have never needed anyone to achieve anything. We can do anything by ourselves if we put our mind to it.

actually edl were out in various towns and in 2 areas, sikhs and the edl were patrolling the same streets.

  2. Waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh.

this thread isn't aimed at discussing the edl as that discussion has happened many times before and we agreed not to post anything on here about the edl, as the interests of the sikh community have to come 1st.

but the turban campaign guys are at it again - talking about excommunication as though it's a game, tbh it seems to me, they are just using the supreme authority as a 'pawn' for their political agenda.

  3. great another thread hijacked by pro and anti Edl. We really are a silly bunch arnt we? Other communities who read this will think we're the biggest jokers ever.

The issues raised by the edl affect all communities, jains, whites, katchies, budhists, jews.. why is our community, who make up the least numbers are so head-over-heels over the edl? who lets be honest.. have done what? 2000 people.. maybe 300 kharun wala when push comes to shove..

In terms of our community, as a percentage we are tiny, but in terms of highlighting this problem, fact files were sent to Scotland yard 5 years ago, our community pushed the police to investigate grooming, meetings at the highest levels... Our community pushed the term "racially motivated sexual exploitation"... Our community prompted channel 4 and the Times to investigated, and did 99% of the undercover work. when our community spoke, the numbers were not there. thats when only handful of singhs stood. Now we got apneh ranting and raving about edl.

Seriously singhs.. those that think Edl is a good thing, great, work with them to highlight the problems our community is facing. But dont be a ranting looney tune.. whats the need to get excited? how will shouting edl solve problems? to the pakis it looks really simple.. these singhs now getting leary and brave cos they got a few chavs with them. Its NOT our style.. be stealth, be sharp.. do what you got to do, but dont rant and rave on the internet about it.

bottom line is there no need to "get support".. just do what u gotta do, people have made up their mind one way or the other..no point making a jaloos outa the situation.

    excellent post

  4. look edl are gonna do what they gonna do regardless, and so are the muslim extremists and muslim grooming gangs etc.

i know what is the bigest threat to us as Sikhs living in this country,

i know some sikh groups have stood up to these islamic extremists in the past, but like some-one said we need another sp like organisation who

openly stand up to this scum.

i for one would openly stand with them

i still belive and have mentioned it in the past, that when things get worse with the english and the muslims, we will get caught up in the middle, so now while a movement liek the edl is stil lelatviely new, we do need to educate them on the difference between us and muslims and sorry to say, ppl like the turban campaign are only gonna make us seme like we are in bed with the extreme muslims

come on regardless of what ever threat you think the gora are, how can u even get into bed with the extreme form of islam.

2 yrs ago before the edl formed, all the issues the edl have with miliant islam, we have too, lets not get distratced from those issues, cus some sell out sikhs say edl are racist, okay let edl do what they want, and the day they become a threat to the sikh community, beleive me it will be sorted but until then

stand up again miltiant islam, don't let england become a republic state of islam, and sorry guys ppl like balvinder rana who leads the turban campaign and sikhs gaainst the edl is just a leftie communist who don't even practice sikhi himself, so how can he play games with the sikh community with his act

  5. actually the funniest comment i heard from an edl supporter was at the dudley demo against mosques.

he goes 'we don't want mosques in the uk, well you wouldn't see churches in india, would you 'lol

lol u should have seen his face, when some1 explained to him that actually you get load of churches in india, and india isn't a muslim country

but agreed, you do get tools and ill educated ppl

  6. Completely agree. It was an excellent show. Well done Sangat TV!

Sometimes, our elders/Sikh media are scared to discuss these issues as they know they are controversial and will offend people. Sorry, but burying our head in the sand only makes the issues worse. These are real issues which our Panth is facing TODAY. There's no point crying when things go wrong. Better to address these issues first. This can only happen through awareness.

lol, i sent out a message to some of the policy makers within the edl to watch it and hear 1st hand the issues we as a community have with grooming etc. As i knew Mohan Singh was doing it, i thought it would mainly be in english, haha- i had a good laugh. can u imagine the scene 'a group of so called racists watching a Mr Singh talking in Panjabi trying to understand what he was saying' lol i did an ok tranlsation job lol

  7. I saw it and it was what I expected.

The government and education authorities who have visited these schools have been mugged off. They visit these schools they show them and tell them what they want to, hear, when they leave the hate preaching starts.

It requires tough action from MPS and Government.

...Will "Turban Campaign" poster get his "flag of intoralance" out after seeing this or will carry on defending extremists!

will the turban campaign and other so called sikh leaders release a press statement condemning what happens at these mosques!!!!!!

    ehmmm - i doubt it

  8. Many of you need to quit being scared of the Muslims. They done what any community would do in their situation which is to self organise and come together to defend their community from the EDL. Supporting the EDL will achieve nothing except make you look like a fool and bring shame to our community. In fact, the primary reason for having to step up the anti-edl initiative was due to the 'badnaami' being caused by this pro-edl & bnp madness.

hahahaha, lol so london 7/7 was the fault of the edl, all the potential terrorist attacks in this country that the security services have stopped were the fault of the edl, the muslim grooming gangs were the fault of the edl, the poppy burners and those who insult british troops were the fault of the edl, the muslim gangs going around beating up innocents were the fault of the edl, get a grip, (and thats just in this country) okay disagree with what the EDL is doing

but DO NOT say there is no problem with islamic extremists/some muslims in this country

Infact it is the edl who have come together to defend its community from miltiant silam and muslim gangs.

By the way edl started last yr, islam extremists has been goin for 1400 yrs

duhhh, typical left wing bull@@@@, ignore the cause of the problem and blame some1 else

  9. It's sad how when Sikhs were kicking off in the late 90s onwards, you didn't do anything then. Where were you hiding? I know you were old enough then.

Now you think becoming white man's 'boy', blindly patriotic to England like a nationalist mug is some kind of solution/progress. It would be better if you just sat on your arse then do what you are doing mate.

    Shame on you.

lol again as i repeated many times to you Dalsingh, you know nothing about me, so please dont make assumptions

  10. A greater threat to you? Not to the rest of us. Anyway you havent answered the point that if this movement is so popular, why does it need sikh support? Surely that will only galvanize the musis further?

As for the flags, the Nishan Sahib is not the same as the Khalistani Flag. Why dont you get your friends to fly a khalistani flag on their demos alongside flags of other countries?

Come along with your Khalistani flag to a demo and fly it to your hearts content, i assure you, you will be welcome and if you want you can lead the demo.

The edl wanted to come to the annual hyde park rally to show their support for the Sikh community. We advised them that it probably wasn't a good idea due to the narrow mindedness of some members of our owwn communtiy

Maybe it doesn't need sikh support, but personally, i am not gonna sit back and be a keyboard warrior on an issue i feel passionate about.

  11. Are singhs on here for real? SIkhs joining the edl or even giving passive support is one of the dumbest things i have seen. Are you defending english values? Like the right to be racist? Invade foreign countries for no reason? Assault asian schoolgirls? Scream at tourists for not speaking english in london? Act like being born white makes you better than the rest of those born here? Rewrite history to make others seem inferior when in truth they were just as civilized as the english?

Get your heads out of your backsides. Do you see any khalistani flags at the demos? NO! Just hindustani ones. English sikhs are the laughing stock of the world. UAF are no better, just a bunch of lefty scum. The left in this country has never done anything for sikhs. But then again neither has the right. Turns out no gives a damn about us. Surprise, surprise. Not.

Now if you dont mind I'm off to torch a Ford Capri parked on the corner of my street. ;D

lol we've actually seen sikh flags on demos and asked ppl to remove them as it's not appropriate. We have been asked to lead demos carrying the Nishann Sahib, again we felt its not appropriate. Think what you want, at the end of the day we are doing what we feels needs to be done. Militant islam, Muslim grooming gangs etc are a bigger threat in our country than any other group at the moment. and in the process if we can educate a few gorai about sikhs, then so be it

  12. I'm just wondering if you're genuinely interested in Sikh matters or are you just solely here to plug the EDL?

I can't help get the impression that you might perceive the threat of 'Islamists' in the UK as 'all consuming' and be blind to the host of other internal issues we have to confront as a quom that have nothing or little to do with Muslims?

Do you think someone like this is any sort of person to be following in any case? What kind of low class behaviour is that? He makes a chav look classy.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mp0SAqmf_y8

lol, u know nothing about me, you don't know what sikh matters interest me or what panthic issues i believe in.

lol by pm, u told me not to message you making it clear you don't want to talk, but yet everytime i post, you make a comment.

P.S I have been on this board for a few yrs under another name long before the edl came along. i just see whats happenign to the country we live in and feel something needs to be done

  13. Waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh

I had actually stopped posting on here as even though DalSingh always replyed to my posts in a respectful manner, they just kept going around in circles.

Also the admin at the time said they didn’t want any so called ‘edl’ propaganda so were deleting everything.

Recently A post was made about how edl members got a fb group comparing the darstar of the Sikhs with bin ladin shut down- not Sikhs, but gorai, and the admin shut that post down.

Thus I get the impression that any1 with any link to the edl is not welcome to this ‘SANGAT’.

    However, I will post again.

1)Where are the statements from these so called sikh orgs condemning grooming by Pakistani groups not just to sikh girls but all girls in England. Where are the statements condemning attacks in this country and all the arrests benign made preventing terrorist attacks, where are alL the statements saying don’t label all as ‘ASIANS’ BUT DISTINGUISH BETWEEN Sikhs/hindues/Mulsims etc

2)So what if Sikhs support the EDL, maybe they are also fed up of all the issues with islamists in this country, and DalSingh before you say ‘don’t side with goray’

I don’t see any1 else taking a stand, and I and I am sure many others would stand side by side with you if you take the initiative??

    3) No one has the right to speak on behalf of the sikh community and I think the turban campaign if they are so passionate about what they belive in, they should focus on the real issues and not just get in to a ‘postion’ by condemning fellow Sikhs.

I have wrote in the past a detailed argument of if not supporting the edl at least knowing they are not what the media portray and that don’t us fall into the hype, lets see how long this post lasts before I write anymore.

Off to a meeting to educate 50 so called ‘racist chavy uneducated gorai’ about the difference between Singhs and Muslims J
