its only in the last few years the word khalistan is being allowed to be said, sikhs ahave been arrestted for saying khalistan, it was until sardar simranjit singh maan's case that the courts ruled that the police cant arrest ppl for expression their views on khalistan.

Very worrying news coming from Panjab, Bhai Amrik Singh Ji Ajnala (Mukh Sevadar Damdami Taksaal) has been shot and injured by the Panjab police. Over 20 other Gursikhs have been shot too, some are in critical condition.

The news is skechy at the moment, a Jatha of Gusikhs went to help local sikhs in Taran Taran Sahib where a cult was threating the local villgers.

dont really want to talk about caste and the background of our Shaheeds, but yes we need to shed light on the misconceptions about Sikhi and the movement.

On the top of my head people who came from a none socalled jat background are

:

Bhai Ranjit Singh who socalled background was Ramgarihar he was selected as Sri Akaal Takhat Jathadar

Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh was socalled low caste

Bibi Bimal Kaur Khalsa singhni of Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh ji was elected as a MP in 1989

Shaheed Bhai Kehar Singh ji who was hanged came from a low caste

Bhai Sukhwinder Singh Gora Lt General Khalistan Commando Force

will try to get more names, in the movement the issue of caste didnot rise much as everyone had the same vision to become Shaheed for Sikhi, the people who play the caste card were the ones who didnot have the attention to fight and die for Sikhi

What i saw of the program by the new organisation it was very refreshing to hear about the Satkar of Guruji and their stand on issues regarding Sikhi and the stand on Khalistan. it seemed well attended.

people on here saying their had personal differences etc guess it didnot show in the event, they clarified why they split up becus of many issues the one that brought this to a head is support dharam singh which went against Babajis bachan.

spoke to a few guys on face book and they said this group of singhs have done seva since 1984 and where the ones that supported the Damdami Taksaal and Baba Takhur Singh Ji and the original Panthic Committee.

Hopefully everyone can work in their own fields and be honest to the Panth.
