Sadh Sangat Ji,
I hope all the Sadh Sangat is well and in good health. I would like to make all the Sikhs aware that 'Slough Singh Sabha Gurdawara' on Sheehy Way has purchased premises on Stoke Poges Lane. The premises are for the purpose of building a hall for parties. As the committe are aware that there will be backlash regarding this project - they have chosen to de-link the premises by calling it 'Falcon Sports Centre'.
The primary function is to have parties and all the funding is from Sadh Sangats' money. I ask all the Sadh Sangat to write to the committe strongly protesting against building premises for holding parties where alchol and meet is consumed. Also the activities after completion needs to be monitored.
If truely they choose to use the premises as a Sports Complex and for educational purposes I wish them best of luck, as this is what the community needs but I feel this is not true. Also if this is the case they could have named it 'Slough Singh Sabha Sports Complex'!!!!
