  1. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ke Fateh !! I've read many stories about the Gurus but I was wondering where I can find extensive and detailed stories of the Gurus adventures? I'm talking about stories that are detailed as much as university textbooks are. I've also been looking for some stories that may not be well known but nonetheless are significant? I am a person who has kept their kesh for awhile but I have found that while attending university and observing how apnays behave and how the role of the Guru's teachings in our everday lives has not affected many people IN MY AREA, I think someone has to find a way to get through to these people despite how hard it maybe. However, before I myself can do anything significant I want to learn more than I already know about the Guru's lives and teachings. Thank you !
  2. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ke fateh !! I want to ask a question that I've been curious about for quite sometime and this question has come about again as some of these horror movies such as "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" have been released. I do know that the concept of the devil and demons are apart of Christian ideology. However, is there any mentioning of devils or evil spirits (poots) in gurbani? There is a lot of conjecture about this in the Sikh community and occasionally people will tell you about their encounters with poots and such. I know that the concept of the devil is a Christian one and obviously there is no equivalent in Sikhi but I am just curious to know whether Gurbani acknowledges evil spirits or demons? I am not afraid of these demons because I know that ultimately, the Gurus will always protect us from any evil and the 5 evils are the evils that we must conquer ourselves. Thanks
  3. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ke Fateh ! I was just wondering if anyone who has visited the Roomiwala Gurduwara in the Bhatinda District, know of the relationship between Sant Baba Nand Singh and Baba Kame Singh (who currently resides at Roomiwala Gurduwara)? I have visited Baba Kame Singh at this gurduwara and I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about him and if he is at all connected to Baba Nand Singh and the sants that have succeeded him. Gur Fateh
