if you've got a shop nearby why dont you bring your old material down and ask the guy what it is. thats what i did once with my old paag which was fading too. well i was told my material was voil, not sure if anyone here uses it. voil is a bit thick initially and its a bit difficult to tie (the laars dont come out very neat). im thinking of trying other materials out. any suggestions for material that is easy to tie? from what i've gathered here so far its mal mal :lol:

for some reason i would not trust that they would just allow us to carry our kirpans on board. whats stopping some anti sikh elements to put a fake singh on board with kirpan and all and then do something stupid(wont elaborate) then they will show to the world that we gave concession to the sikhs and this is what they go and do. it just more fuel to add to their false propaganda. you cant help but be suspicious whenever governement does somethin good for the sikhs.

i was just talkin to a friend recently and he mentioned something about this guy called President Sahib. Hes from Patiala i think. Apparently hes suppose to be some great person and some leader of the khalsa panth?!? He never speaks to anyone. it seems as if some people really worship this dude. i tried searching on the net for some info on him but couldnt really find anything. does anyone know anything about this so called president? i dont know much bout this guy and i dont wanna start a whole big argument here. i just wanna know is this guy for real or is he another one to stay away from?

I dont see a problem in wearing a patka here. and i dont think anyone compromises sikhi by wearing one. why make this an issue? if i were to ask u now do u wear bana 24/7 to work or school? or do u wear suit pants n all dat. so now are u compromising sikhi too? i could go on but no need to start more arguments. we should work towards being united. firstly this is veri saddenin news and lets do ardas for the people who have died and pray for the injured to recover..

the disturbing thing here is that i was watchin the local news coverage last night. they were showin video footage from delhi and were correspondin live with their reporter there. then it came to the part where the issue of who could be responsible for this was being discussed.. main suspicion was on two islamic terrorist organisations. but then there was a small mention that another possibility could be the sikh organisation the babbar khalsa but this was very unlikely. I just dun understand why it had to be mentioned followed by them sayin it is very unlikely though. if it is VERY UNLIKELY then dun mention it till more details come in!! its just another case of irresponsible reportin. however on a positive note i read the papers this mornin and there was no mention of babbar khalsa. The papers put the suspects down to kashmiri terrorist organisations.

this video has been makin its rounds on several sites that haf all these short funny clips... one site had a description of the video and in it wrote he was a 'hindu guy'.. so now they also view us as hindus?? ... sum ppl are so ignorant.. dunt they noe that we're sikhs n not hindus or muslims ... neway maybe it was betta they thought the 'fool' was a hindu... jkes..
