WATERLOO YOUTH KIRTAN DARBAR at Kitchener Gurdwara Sahib on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18th starting at 6PM. (refer to poster for more details)

For those who have came to the ones in the past know how amazing they are, and for those who havn't, you are missing out so please dont miss this one if you have the oppurtunity to make it.

Waterloo has been known for these youth kirtan darbars filled with great love between the youth from all jathebandies bringing in total unity. Benti to everyone again to please book your weekend off and to please attend for an all night raensabaee. More and more sangat from all around Canada and the US, attend every year. If anyone will like to come from afar please contact us so we can try to make proper arrangements.

Our site has been updated with MANY new keertan/pics. It gets updated at least once a week so do chek back at LEAST once/twice a week.

New keertan include SIMRAN files from last weeks TUESDAY SIMRAN AT DIXIE !! Everyone asks if there are any just SIMRAN files .. we got a whole folder with JUST SIMRAN FILES !!! Its a MUST see and even better .. COME OUT TO DIXIE GURUGHAR ON Tuesday and Friday nights to experience it live !!

Akhand Keertan at Malton Gurughar from last weekend has also been added.

More keertan will be uploaded in the next few days as well so KEEP CHECKING BAK !!

If you havnt listened to the recent OTTAWA YOUTH KEERTAN DARBAR that happened in MAY, do listen to those files also in the KEERTAN section under youth keertan darbars 2006 (and others if you havnt listened to them yet). It just makes you wana move to TORONTO !!

OTTAWA YKD PICS

Recordings will be going up in a bit and will be all up by monday night in the KEERTAN section of Ontariosikhyouth.ca! :TH:

Overall the YKD was a amaazing success with guru jis kirpa. Sangat came from far and wide. Thanks to the ottawa sevadars, sangat from Toronto was given a bus which they enjoyed all the way there either doing simran, kirtan or gursikhi vichaar all the way to ottawa! May vaahegurooo ji bless us with more chardi kala YKD's such as this one and continued blessing from guru ji to stay on this beautiful sikhi path!

They even packed everyone snacks to go along with on the long ride back! DHAN GURU DHAN GURU PYAREY!

Nagar Keertans that happened in Toronto area.. Malton-Rexdale (April 23rd) and Downtown Toronto (April 30th) ..sangat pics have been added to our server! Here are the pics ..

Guru kirpa naal both nagar keertans were in chardi kala! The Malton-Rexdale Nagar Keertan sadly was a very bad rainy day but sanagataan still came, and the Downtown Nagar Kirtan was a record breaking day with sangataan coming from far a wide. At least tens of thousands of sangat ! View pictures to get darshan yourself. Many student bodies were representing via floats including COSS, KASE, GGSCF, etc.. it was truly an amaaazing day for guru ke pyaarai !

We apologize for any inconvenience in the last month or so as we had been updating our server. The site is back up and running full. Some files may be missing here and there but we are trying our best to put them all back up !

There are new files up on our server for the sangat to enjoy ..

- Kingston Youth Kirtan Darbar is up (Feb)!

- Guru Gobind Singh jis Gurpurb kirtan is up as well (Jan)!

- Weekend Sangat files are up for February !

- Temporarily we have AKJ Faridabad, AKJ Ludhiana and SadhSangat Dodra recordings up for the sangat to get laha but will be taken off since this is majority for Youth Kirtan Darbars. Must here Simran files from Ludhiana and kirtan by chardikala gursikhs from India !

- Pictures section is back up and running with more new pics from recent kirtan darbars.

- Events section is running smoothly with many new kirtan darbars coming your way including GUELPH this saturday and WATERLOO next saturday ! Please visit ontariosikhyouth.ca for more information !

- We had many complaints about the Shoutbox and had to temporarily disactivate it, but now its back wit full moderation and filters. If there are still anymore complaints please notify us.

There are 3 new smagams recordings on our server (AKJ Ludhiana, Sadh-Sangat Dodra and AKJ Faridabad), on OntarioSikhYouth.ca

These recordings will be available for a short time for sangat to get laha from and then will be taken off. We try to include personal recordings and share with sangat, and since this is a 'youth' oriented website, mainly YOUTH kirtan darbar recordings will be kept on.

Ludhiana recordings are not superb, they are recorded while sitting in sangat but still are fairly good quality. And sangat can enjoy these until akj.org gets the originals up. :lol: (**MUST hear simran files from Ludhiana**)

Firstly, thank you to all sangat who came out to the AKHAND JAAP in toronto on NOV 26th, it was one incredible night to remember !! All pictures and recordings are now up on ONTARIOSIKHYOUTH.CA

Also, McMaster Youth Kirtan Darbar on campus recordings have also been added !! Site is updated weekly, so keep checking back !

A new feature in the EVENTS section of the site is added so that anyone can add an event in (well not new , been there for a while). If you know any events that are going on in around ontario, or you are doing an event in your area or at your school/university, you can add it to that section for sangat to get information from. Please check it out..

Sikh Youth of Ontario is proud to launch their own website, www.OntarioSikhYouth.ca. This site brings unity amongst the youth of Ontario, and has communication with other youth groups all around the world. This website is not associated with any particular jatha.

The uniqueness of OntarioSikhYouth.ca is that we will be updating our site on a weekly basis and/or after each event. We promote local Youth Keertan Darbars, local Sikh Youth events going on in surrounding areas. The keertan darbars are in no particular style, all keertan styles are welcome. The main target is unity among all groups/SSA, and by us all working together, we can all in Vaheguru’s name, bring peace and happiness and make a path for our future generations.
