  1. VAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, VAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

    A) Why generalize - who says Sikhs don't respect other religions - where is the evidence? You cannot hold the faith accountable for the actions of individuals. Sikhs are not declaring a Jihad on any faith or otherwise mobilizing as a Panth against any religion.

    B) Why Nijjar, not Singh? If you are Amritdhari, you know that this is a no-no. If you are not, then you know this is the first step to being a Sikh.

    C) Who says there are not real Gursikhs right now? What evidence is there that all are gone? Not all will wave a flag to attract attention to themselves.

    D) Who says Sikhs don't meditate on God? There are many Sikhs waking up at Amrit Vela, doing Simran/Nitnem/Keertan/Paath and trying to be good Gursikhs.

It seems that you are somehow frustrated at the Sikh Panth's current state. That is very easy to get into. Always remember that Vaheguru created the Khalsa and Vaheguru will always have victory (Fateh). It is the game that the Sikh faith was to undergo and learn from. We, who are blessed to be allied to this faith, live on the earnings and respect of our forefathers and must realize that this is not sustainable. New Baba Deep Singhs and Mai Bhagos must and will arise. We have only to look back 30 years from the post 1984 movement to see that Gursikhs were alive and well and up to the same standards of the Puratan Gursikhs.

Focus on yourself and ask yourself these questions and when the answers arise, make improvements to yourself. If you want to exact change, you will have to work on the self. If you wish to do seva, do seva locally per Bhai Jasbir Singh Khanne Vale to raise awareness of Sikhi and conduct Gurmat oriented programs in the local Sangat(s).

Sikhsangat posts will not resolve Panthic matters or be the answer to the questions you are looking for at a Panthic level.

KHalsa ji you are real khalsa . I respect your answers to questions and agree with it completely.

DO you know these are not my questions? MY classmate(not sikh) asked me this question. He said, " Why do you guys always hate Hindu And Muslims. Why do you ask for different nation when GURU NANAK DEV JI said GOD is one and he is in everyone. "

THese are all his questions not MINE.

And I felt very bad that what is being perceived by people.

And Nijjar is for the id so that i don't get already taken error hah! I know I don't have as much knowledge as sikhs like you have. But I am not fighting about these questions, Don't get angry. Everyone is not perfectly knowledgeable like you.

I am very sorry to say that You did not read the post carefully I already said "including myself" as I first asked this question to myself then others.

  2. This is a question for all the sikhs including myself are we really sikhs or just known to be sikhs. How is our relation going on with god? Do we meditate on GOD?

    OR

WE are stuck in getting a different nation?

    Does every sikh understands Gurbani?

Why do sikhs don't respect other religions? Whereas GURU sahib respected every religion.

And What is the difference between sikh(us) and "SIKH" in this shabad-

I am sorry if have said anything wrong.

  3. How can one meditate on God's name without truly knowing or loving what has created us? Shouldn't we have an understanding of what we are meditating on? This is where discussion comes in, and satsang is among people that belief in God, and those that make a statement but doesn't give a chance for discussion, like you said if someone says 'my religion is best' and that's it, end of discussion. Someone who would really question it is someone that is learning and understanding, and 'Sikh' means a student, and a student always questions and asks to find out more.

You are saying everything right , I agree with you views khalsa ji. But you know what we are doing right now? We are debating haha! And you are questioning me. I am not saying anything. I just put the verses from Guru Granth Sahib ji. I am not saying anything from my mind. I am referring to the supreme GURUJI. And They say-

    ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਬੋਲੈ ਸਭੁ ਵੇਕਾਰੁ ॥

That means- Speaking anything other than Naam is waste.

You know I am also wrong somewhere because we are not obeying our GURU's command written above. Thats why I am manmukh.

  4. I think its important to discuss certain aspects which one feels they need clarification on so then, one can have a much better understanding, and clear any doubt we have.

AND clearing one's doubts or helping them to understand something, wouldn't that be an accomplishment in itself as your helping them to become closer to God?

Also, shouldn't one's belief in God make them a compassionate person towards another who is wanting to discuss things? In terms of compassionate, I mean just because YOU (generally speaking, not you in particular), but basically a knowledgeable person of religion that understands, they shouldn't think of someone else who is questioning, or discussing aspects in religion, as being too attached to this world.

Because, if you know someone is asking you questions about religious topics, doesn't this mean they have a sincere desire to find out more about God? IF that is the case, then wouldn't it be one's duty to help them and clarify the matter, rather than saying they are too consumed in this world?

It's kind of contradictory because on the one hand if they are discussing about religion they are wanting to know more about God, but then on the other hand, if they are discussing about religion, it means they are 'embedded in Maya'? And if they are too consumed in 'maya' by asking to have discussions, doesn't discussing with them help them find the same level of belief that YOU hold about God, too?

Do you understand what I'm saying?

I understand what you are saying...You are talking about SATSANG not discussions. And yes satsangs are very important but we should know what is satsang.

    SATSANG is NOT->

    1. Blaming each other for variety of religious beliefs.

    2.Saying my religion is best.

    3.Talking about revenge.

4.Talking about sikh related movies like 84.

    .....so on.

SATSANG is (from my point of view) ->

REMEBERING GOD(WAHEGURU) only waheguru nothing else.

    As guru ji said -

    ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੈਸੀ ਜਾਣੀਐ ॥

How is the Society of the Saints to be known?

    ਜਿਥੈ ਏਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਖਾਣੀਐ ॥

There, the Name of the One Lord is chanted.

  5. As everyone reads Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and believe that it is true.

Here is a line from a shabad of GURU GRANTH SAHIB

    " ਬਾਦੁ ਬਿਬਾਦੁ ਕਾਹੂ ਸਿਉ ਨ ਕੀਜੈ ॥

    ਰਸਨਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਸਾਇਨੁ ਪੀਜੈ ॥੨॥"

so why do we discuss a lot rather than meditating? Your views.

My view is meditation is most emphasized in Guru Granth Sahib ji.

  6. If you are lacking sehaj in your life, this is not due to the Panj Pyare. Your lack of sehaj lies in the fact that you are not devoting enough attention to NAAM. The more Gurbani you read, listen to, the more sehaj will come about.

Don't blame your own shortcomings on Panj Pyare. If you feel that the Panj Pyare lacked Maryada, perhaps you could find another four Gursikhs of your caliber, and start doing the seva.

If you can't be bothered to do kaimee of NAAM, perhaps you could take Amrit on a daily basis, until you find the Panj Pyare that meet your criteria...

Singh sahib why do you get angry?

I am just seeking good leaders not SGPC. I am not saying someone was bad , rather I am saying I am bad. I know that.

But if you have heard the the sight of saints is amrit, they speak amrit bani. They have aura. If you have ever met a saint, you will know he is a saint. You will just know it because of his TEJ. There has been such in the previous century.

  7. For all the posts same answer I am saying I am not asking a Body for GURU because SHABAD is Guru but what I am saying is to have a leader who can give transfer updesh of Guru granth sahib ji like BABA Deep Singh JI. SO that we are united and no fights between Maan's, SGPC, Dhadhariawale Baba ji, Damdami Taksal and other jathebandis. WHere are the heroes gone with tap and naam simran. Are they hiding or what? where are they?

And about charity hospital, My Friend with major accident with injury in brain is in comma. No Gurudwara gave help you are saying about charity hospitals haha its a joke singh ji. There is no such thing I collected some money from people and relatives. I think normal people give money. But Prabhandak committees don't even give a penny. He is still in comma nad everyday expenditure for hospital is about RS15,000. Earlier it was Rs 30,000. Now he has recovered. They have sold their home. Charitable hospitals ! You can check there he is in Pasricha hospital, Patient name- Sangharsh. I think those who say INDIA is now rich haven't gone to UP, Jharkhand, MP, Arunachal Pardesh.

  8. Well this world is a big place with a lot of people, not thousands, millions and more. What u are saying would be very difficult to organise.

It is difficult to organise for sometime but if it happens our community would be under right leadership. Now our leaders not that perfect. For example instead of helping poor we are putting so called GOLD( which is DUST for Guru JI) on the walls for nothing. I don't think GURU ji taught us. In India 25% of people don't even get food under 2000 calories a day.(1.25$/day).

We sikhs have no free hospital for poor. why?

    We shall be ashamed.

  9. Only GURU Ji's Sikhi can make us perfect. Only those who adopt GURU Ji's teaching will become perfect...

There have been many revered GURMUKHS in the past. What method do you have to 'test the BRAMH GYANINESS' of today's Sikhs?...

I don't have any method but may be there could be a solution to this problem. Because when I took amrit the Panj Pyaare were not in sehaj. They were in a hurry and just rushed. i didn't expect that but I had to accept that because I thought it was GURU sahib's HUKAM.

May be we can do ardaas for this to GURU sahib and look out for a perfect saint to do duty of panj pyaare from the sangat.

  10. You are obviously a Bramh Gyani. Could you please select another four, of your calibre, and do the seva....

Khalsa Ji I am talking about personalities like Sant attar singh ji, Baba NAnd singh ji, Baba Deep Singh ji, Sant Harnam SIngh Rampur KHera, Bhai Randhir SIngh, Bhai Seva Singh, Sant Jarnail SIngh ANd many more like this. Persons like this have the qualities to do the duty of amrit paan.

  11. Khalsa ji I beg to you don't say like that to me ? Brahmgyani, sant, bhagat, khalsa are very big titles only given by GOD Almighty.

    I am sinned with this.

Don't get angry with my topic, Just try to understand the situation, because Panj Pyaare should be perfect otherwise we who take amrit from them won't be perfect.

  12. My question is little bit inadequate, I don't have the tendency to ask such a big question.

Shouldn't there be only one place to take amrit ?, I mean only one group of Panj Pyaare as our GURU not anyone from the crowd. But only five Brahmgyani's from the whole world should have the right to do amrit ceremony. As we see at Kalgidhar Patshah's time only Five did the ceremony for thousands. And they were real sikhs. Not just from outside, I mean they were enlightened.

    What are your views?
