  1. i say let it be with them but make its perfect nakal.. then do its sudhai! sudhai!... then compare it..then check everything..then question on it in every aspect.. then make a perfect copy of it ... then start printing this copy...

let this be with them because u know our sikh leaders are not trustworthy...

lets be smart ... reach the museum ... do utara of each single thing saroop..

    sri akaal ji sahai!

  2. i have yes, they are amazing!

i think thats on there agenda.

sikhi is very much in chardikala my friend.

nope no sikh muslim issue. We get on very well just as we do with any other community. Of course we have the odd individuals looking to create an issue, even on here.

we dont have soccer in the uk lol its football :) i dont support any.

good good ... yeah i knew about soccer thing ...haha...

    be in chardikala ...

    sri akaaaal ji sahai!

  3. ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ, ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਿਹ

We understand there was a program on Sangat channel in the last 30 mins covering this subject, does anyone have a copy?

there's a documentary on sikh reference library on YouTube ...

  4. I agree. We need strict maryada to be followed by everyone who visits. This should include modest dress and fully covered heads. Tourist or not, when in a religous place, i wouldve thought its common sense to show respect and speak quiety if at all necessary. The problem is, we see our own people barking in there like theyre at home, or sitting around like theyre out on a picnic, or having little sword fights :/ so we're not exactly setting a decent example. And the new benches, trees and dancing fountains in the new plaza dont exactly encourage religious behaviour, rather it encourages people to sit around and socialise.

Also, the new fixed overhead shelter thing over the bridge leading from darshani deori to darbar sahib, not only is it hideous, not only does it detract and defeat the object of the darshani deori and the related architectural marvel, but the shading and fans also once again encourage people to move at leisure, and chit chat away. Sgpc...there arent enough ill words to describe them.

    yes..our people...

yes damn yes! !sgpc! there's no abusive language yet made for them...

Also, the "sewadars" who get paid by spgc to stand there in their tacky blue robes and chat away with their blunt chrome barshay (spears), are just there to look pretty. Not once have i seen them actioning anything. If something needs implementing, its usually the general sangat who speak up and get shiz done

    you are right...

    btw where r u from?

  5. i had longing to write about this issue.... why it is essential to write about this issue is because when i met a person of outside punjab having tambakoo in his mouth in darbar sahib complex ..i was shocked ... he was although innocent because nobody told him about it... after that me & my friend told him to spit in wash basin..ughh... sgpc first tell people about maryada..

i know i too am not perfect .... i myself commit very big mistakes ....

    but where are tbe sewadars?

during my childhood. when i went to darbar sahib with my mom....

we were very much scared of them...they were so strict....they scolded us for not covering our heads.. respect to sarovar sahib...not throwing parshad to feed fishes..into the sarovar...its cleaniness..& the most important checking of alcoholic person or tambakoo in people's mouth ... each kind of maryada they took great care.. it was harsh but joy to learn the maryada strictly...

people used to talk less while they wore simple clothes...& no mobiles..

sewadars used to teach us like a family ... i am not saying they were rude .,never but much more like teaching us lessons.... they had good control almost everywhere in the complex ..& people were understanding ....

before entering of complex. they took great care ...

& please dont tell me nowadays there is much more people coming...& it is difficult ...yes...but then there must be more sewadars..olden ones had kind of love & duty to tell us...

TOURISTS THINK THIS IS A TOURIST SPOT BUT ITS A RELIGIOUS PLACE..

sewadars must tell people to be silent .. where are they...?

who's there to tell people cover their heads... & tell its meaning & maryada... i never blame all of them but i think thhats a big flaw...

before entering people should be shown videos telling them maryada... there must be more boards in all languages ...& many more ...

sometimes i tell people to cover their heads ,be silent ,etc & then they would see me like for a long time thinking --- " who the heck are u hhh? noones bothering...who r u hh?? one time i remember i told an old sikh woman while she was taking amrit from the sarovar while dipping her legs into the sarovar.. i interrupted her ...she said angrily " asi ishnaan nhi karde, udon vi te pair payide ne .." she would've thought of me like " wadda sikh banda ee"

before going to ishnaan first we go to gusal khana to first bath ourselves then take a dip at sarovar with cleaniness.. still correct me if I'm wrong ...

it takes great courage to tell people alone..

...please we need to put more emphasis on this,...

these r my personal views & thats what i've noticed..sorry if i am wrong or hurt any1..

no haume ji..i myself is a biggest sinner.....

    bhula di kheema karni...

  7. How many more court cases? indian high court has already ruled against the indian authorities asking them to return the contents. Has anything been done? Not to my knowledge.

why would international organisations be the least bit interested?

Sitting on a forum complaining of heart ache is not achieving anything my friend. Dont leave things to others. Im sure youre perfectly capable of making a video and putting it on youtube

yes, i will promote it after my exams get over..

    Thanks for the feedback. :smile2:

We've uploaded a book that might be of interest to everyone. This book, written by Canadian journalists, is banned in India.

Soft Target - How the Indian Intelligence Service Penetrated Canada

    http://www.discoversikhism.com/sikh_library/english/soft_target.html

The authors define Soft Target as "an espionage term used for any country, institution or group of people very easy to penetrate and manipulate for subversive purposes" and argue that the Canadian Sikh community was a "Soft Target" of a covert operation by the Indian government during the 1980s. The Indian intelligence agencies not only penetrated the Sikh community in order to discredit them world wide and halt the momentum of the demand of an independent Sikhs state, but also manipulated the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS).

We guess the Indians worked out force doesn't work with Sikhs, so now they use subversion.

whoah!! its not a reservoir its the whole sea...

    thanks

  10. About 3 weeks ago the Admins started a thread in which they said there are occassions when individuals, institutions and governments ask SikhSangat.com for the IP addresses of some of us and there are occassions when Sikhsangaat.com oblige and give out our addresses.

Following that comment by the Admins, many of you ignored it and carried on talking about some other stuff. I however, did not ignore it because I found the revelation to be startling. I wrote a comment about how scared and surprised I was that this website had been sometimes giving out our IP addresses to people and governments.

Guess what ? No one of you had anything to say on the matter but instead carried on talking about some other stuff.

Perhaps now this thread will awaken some brain cells in your collective brains ?

I'll repeat what I said at the start of this message:

About 3 weeks ago the Admins started a thread in which they said there are occassions when individuals, institutions and governments ask SikhSangat.com for the IP addresses of some of us and there are occassions when Sikhsangaat.com oblige and give out our addresses.

i did not forget that thing.. & i was shocked too..

what can we do then change the website?

  11. whenever i remember about sikh reference library & its contens....i cant control myself... i seriously think contents of library are still with them....

there are eyewitnesses aswell..... see burning the documents taken during any attack, war, battle, action etc. are not burnt by the army officials...

those who say they burnt it ...well can be possible...bcoz there intention was to destroy us & our identity.....but i strongly feel this thing cant be possible....

one eyewitness( a former cid official as i remember) said he saw a puratan saroop there not taken care of in their archives...<source : news>

if he saw 1 that means none could have burnt...

we should protest rallies in delhi.. letting people ...what the gov. has done with us.... is there any international org who solves such issues..?

    bhul chuk muaf

akaal purakh wahguroo ape sadi madad karnge...

    SRI AKAAL JI SAHAI!

  12. * K Brar the dog who led the attack on our Jind Jaan, Sri Harmandar Sahib actually specifically mentioned this forum in one of his interviews, shows that the govt is aware and tracking the movements of Panth Dardis online as well.

    * Many young Sikhs who were involved in online Panthic seva were arrested by Punjab Police a few months back.

    * The Indian RAW mole planted in the German Sikh community was arrested recently as well. Germany has the maximum number of wanted Sikh Kharkoos and has always been a Khalistani stronghold, this is the reason they infiltrated it.

    * Unofficial reports from the Council of Khalistan (USA) talk about 2500 persons planted by the Indian Govt in our diaspora to divide us, mislead us and give information of potential Kharkoos to the Sarkar.

    whoah! thanks for the info

  13. so you saying they forgot to write mahala 10 when they were writing new saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj ??

nonono! nobody forgot but decision was taken ..that's it...

so why i wrote about mahalla 10 so much? to tell people that the dohra is of kalgidhar pita ji ...no confusion...nothing else...
