  1. Fact Check: “Guru Nanak says: “I have seen the light of Muhammad (with my mind's eye). I have seen the prophet and the messenger of God, in other words, I have understood his message or imbibed his spirit. After contemplating the glory of God, my ego was completely eliminated.” ” >These are not the words of Guru Nanak. These words are not the part of Bani written by Guru Nanak Dev. These words are from the ‘Bhai Bala wali Janamsakhi, a work of Hindalias(also known as Niranjaniyas) who were the bitter enemy of Sikhs. 2. “It is difficult to be called a Muslim; if one is truly a Muslim, then he may be called one. First, let him savor the religion of the Prophet as sweet; then, let his pride of his possessions be scraped away. Becoming a true Muslim, a disciple of the faith of Mohammed, let him put aside the delusion of death and life. As he submits to God's Will, and surrenders to the Creator, he is rid of selfishness and conceit. And when, O Nanak, he is merciful to all beings, only then shall he be called a Muslim. Source: Sri Granth Sahib, pg. 141, ln 11″ > Sikhi doesn’t believe in converting people into religion. According to Gurbani, if you are a Muslim, be a true Muslim. If you are a Hindu, then be a true Hindu. So, in these verses, Guru Nanak Dev is teaching Muslims that only after getting born into Muslim Family, one doesn’t become Muslim. As he says, “It is difficult to be called a ‘Muslim’.” 3. “Guru Arjan quotes Guru Nanak, who said: “One who realizes the Prophet attains heaven. Azraa-eel, the Messenger of Death, does not cast him into hell.” “ > Same Goes for this verse. When you read these stanzas from Ang 1083, ‘ Maaroo, Fifth Mehl: O slave of the inaccessible Lord God Allah……..O Nanak; you shall be released from bondage, and carried across. ||15||3||12||’, you will get to know that Guru Arjan Dev is teaching Muslims how to be True Muslims. >>Sikhs are not Muslims or Hindus. We are not part of any religion. Sikhi is a distinct religion. Guru Arjan Dev also confirms this, on the Ang- 1136 of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. ‘Na Hum Hindu, Na Musalman’ Dont ask stupid af questions when you dont know anything about sikhi bro
