I needed an article (news paper or a book or something reliable) that will indicate that Sikhs were not allowed to visit the Sikh Gurudwaras located in Pakistan (pakistani punjab etc.) before... a news paper article will be better...

please help me out as this is necessary to prove that a visit for a sikh to pakistan is not a sign of terrorism but to visit those recently opened gurdwaras (well i think) which were not alloed to bo visited by people living abroad as in US and Canada And UK...

well mesure the same amount of all 4 ingredients:

aattaa, sugar, geo (butter) water.

1) (start doign Japi Sahib!) Heat up and melt down the butter

2) Put in the aataa and cook it but stiring slightly but constantly on low heat until brown (not burnt!!!) Usually at my speed of Japji sahib, 2 pauree are left.

3) while the Atta is being done, put the sugar and water in a nother pan and heat it up in VERY LOW heat. You just need an excellent timing (and low heat) to have both the sweet part and attaa done at the same time.

4) Anyways, when both are done, put sugar part in aattaa part QUICKLY and start mixing shetee(n) shetee(n) ... be carefull if starts BOILING, and bubbling, AND GET EXTREMELY HOT when aattaa is mixed into sugar (or vice versa, hehe)... at hat time, reduce the heat to the LOWEST possible or if you have electric gas-oven, just ismply turn it off.. but keep on stiring it constantly.

a tip: when the attaa (now degh) and butter (gio) starts getting seperate and the degh is more smooth ("ball").. thenn the degh is done and you can take is off the heat and let it cool and then do ardas and ENJOY!!

heheh... actually some people have different ways to do it... i think.. the main thing in making degh is timing.. and only experience can make it good.

I had a question. At home we have a seperate preetty modest room for Guru Granth Sahib Ji. We call it baba ji's room. Have parkash area and a full bed for sukhasan. This summer I baught in a library to put sikhi books in it. Although All the special granths (as in the translation pothee and translation in other laguage of Guru Granth Sahib Ji, as kept on the bed where the sukhasan is done. But the rest of the books like bhai randhir singh's books which also contains gurbani tuks etc. and other books from different writers, i put them in the library. Is that OK? i mean it clean, no dust or anything, and on top of the library i put a rumala cause some books, actually most books have gurbanee tuks in it.

or should i also take out the book that have gurbani tuks and put them with the pothees?

anyways... i was a little scared after reading this that maybe i wasnt respecting it enough by putting those book on shelves.....

Those Gursikhs are innocent. It was a plan by GOI and the canadian Government to accuse the Sikhs for that action otherwise the Canadian Police and FBI wouldnt have erased the the upmost important proofs about the case as they say that some proofs were deleted-erased. *LIARS* their own people were involved in the action that is why they erased the proofs in order to protect themselves. And sorry to say but FOOLS are those SIKHS in BC and around the world who are cant see what was the actual truth. And the only "valuable" proof they have is this "bibi" of a "news paper reporter", that i wont name (have known him personaly for many many years now), who has some hatered for both bhai shaib ji for not giving her a job at khalsa school.

Read the History of Sahibjaday.. and how young and parpak in Gursikhi they were.... we should take those examples and raise our children like them.... we aint guru aint even close to it.. but need to give as much knowledge about sikhi to our children as possible... its our duty.

me also... i started my first sehaj paath on my 10th birthday.... my father told me that at LEAST until i turn 18.. i have to do 2 sehaj paath a year... the first with bhog and keertan program at home, in august in the remembrance of shaheeds and the second one on my next birth... it was pretty cool.
