What is the Guru's perspective of the role of women? Are women equal in Sikhism? Did you know that Sikhi has a feminine theology? What different perspectives can the Gurus of the Sikhs offer to the whole world about women and religion? There is simply no better day than today, International Women's day, to honour a truly legendary woman. A woman of amazing resilience who has dedicated her entire life to caring for others. A woman whose unconditional love knows no bounds. A woman who never gave up even when a thousand doors were slammed in her face. A woman who fought every adversary to ensure her girls got everything they deserved. A woman who would go hungry herself but always ensured her children never went without. A woman who appreciated the importance of education where others did not. A woman who above all, fought for the rights of girls. Their right to life, their right to knowledge and their right for freedom. A woman who we all know today as BIBIJI. Bibi Prakash Kaur, we salute you. https://www.facebook.com/uniquehome/posts/1328451337180754
